"I wish to question her before that. She could have some valuable information regarding our surroundings." I answer as the dim light of the dying fires around the camp show me Jonathan's bewildered look. I know I should have killed her. I should have let her fall to her death but when she looked up at me I just couldn't. She could hold some valuable information, who knows.

I make my way through the camp into my personal tent with the girl. My soldiers had drunken and eaten as per usual and it didn't take long for one of them to notice the presence of the only female in our camp. "Hey, Lord Asher!" One of them blurts from the side.

"That's some pretty prisoner you've got there." He smirks at the girl.

I ignore him and the others stares and enter my tent with the girl. I drag her to one of the poles holding up my tent and sit her down. She's still trembling but I ignore it.

I turn, walk behind her and undo her ties before tying her to the pole tightly.

She pulls her legs in close and covers her face with her knees. "If you try to run, you'll regret it. Badly," I threaten.

I get up and proceed to undress to clean myself with the cloth and the water basin that someone has filled for me. I glimpsed over at the girl after finishing but she hasn't moved a muscle after having curled up.

I lay down in my bed and catch up on the sleep I've lost chasing after the girl.

*Bella's POV*

After the man had gone to sleep he'd snores away carelessly.

"Why is she still alive?"

I slowly sway back and forth trying to calm myself. I'll find a way out of here and survive.

I look at the man whose no mere Knight after all. His huge figure is slowly rising and sinking as he sleeps peacefully. I wiggle my wrists trying to free myself from the ties but end up rubbing my skin sore instead. I look around the tent which seemingly belongs to my captor 'Lord Asher'. A desk with scrolls and a quill, a few boxes, hay on the ground, a water basin, a big bed and weapons in every corner. This man was the lord leading the this secret base of sorts and my captor.

To think that there'd be a camp of Walzenorians this close to the village on the enemies land. I didn't care for my parents but my brothers meant the world to me and I'd have to warn them somehow. That village was my home, and I was going to have to free myself not only to survive but to warn my village. Caper, I'm coming.

I'm awoken by a man speaking. I flutter open my eyes confused by what was going on. It didn't take long for me to realize where I was. I look around the tent carefully to find that man from yesterday speaking to Lord Asher who's  seated at the desk with his back to me.

"Your little prisoner is eavesdropping." The man says looking in my direction. I lower my head, not wanting to attract any more attention. I'm not fond of his idea of wanting me dead.

"What does it matter? She won't live long enough to tell anyone, about our conversation," Lord Asher answers, his back still to me. To have him speak of my death so casually crushed my hope of begging for mercy. I'd wondered how much time I had left.

Lord Asher adds, "I think we're done now anyways, you're excused Jonathan."

Jonathan, huh?

"Yes, my Lord." Jonathan says before leaving the tent. He's probably Lord Ashers right hand or advisor or something like that.

My body aches and my arms and legs are bruised and scratched. My ankle is throbbing and my arms are aching.

Lord Asher turns to me, "you sleep well?"

I don't answer his cruel question. I keep my gaze focused on the basin on the other side of the tent making sure not to look at the man, who'd just spoken so lightly about my death.

Lord Asher gets up and walks to stand in front of me. I stare at his knees trying to ignore him, but he bends down to be on eye level.

"Let's skip the smalltalk then," he grabs my chin and lifts it upwards to make me look at him.

"Which village are you from?"

I try to shake my face out of his grip, but his grip hardens. Before I can think of a way past the question he continues, "I've told you what will happen if you don't go along with my wishes. So speak with me, or have them suffer."

He's bluffing. Destroying two villages close to their hideout would bring suspicion to the Landlords and they'd be caught. I avert my gaze and wait for him to get mad, having no other choice.

"You think I'm playing games?" He shouts at me and I try my best not to flinch as his grip tights.

He lets go of my aching chin. "Fine," he growls. "Let's do it the hard way then." He slips on of his hands onto my knee and I freeze up. He starts stroking my dress up my leg. "No," I cry. Anything but that.

"What village are you from?" He threatens and as I silently cry trying to keep my mouth shut as he brings my dress up all the way down to my hip exposing me.

"Answer me!" He shouts as his hand starts towards my inner thigh. "Ca-Caper," I whisper trembling under his touch.

His hand pulls back to my knee as he speaks, "will you answer my questions the easy way or the hard way?"

I can't help but sob as he asks, I can't find the words as big round tears stream down my face.

"Has the Lyrian army come by Caper lately?"
