Chapter 11

The doctor came to check how I was feeling, "follow the light with just your eyes" I did what she asked and she said I passed. "Ok you are free to go home, we just need your guardian to sign some papers"  Darry came in and signed the papers to let me go home, we got into the car and I just look out the window. I still felt a little dizzy but I was happy to get out of that place.

Ponyboy: SAM!

Sam: Hi Pony

Two-bit: Sam is home!

Sam: Same old Two-bit, now put me down

Johnny: Hey Sam how you feelin'?

Sam: Better I guess

That same guy that was in the hospital is here again, what was his name? Why can't I remember him? How hard did I hit my head to not know who he is?

Sam: What was you name again?

Ponyboy: again? You don't remember Dally?

Sam: No I don't, why don't I remember you?

Dally: I don't know

He seemed pretty mad, but why? Did I do something to him to be mad? We were all hanging out and Dally wasn't saying anything to me. After awhile more people came, I remember them. Jughead, Archie, Betty and Veronica, but why can't I remember Dally?

Archie: How are you Sam?

Sam: I'm ok, just a little tired

Jughead: Oh then we could come back later if you want to rest

Sam: You sure? You can hang out with the guys

Jughead: Yeah we can stay, right?

Betty: Yeah, go get some sleep

I went upstairs to my room to get some rest, but Dally was stuck in my mind still. I closed my eyes for a few minutes and I felt someone sitting on my bed. I guess they thought I was asleep. "This is all my fault, I shouldn't have fallen in love you Sam. I miss you, and now you don't remember me at all. I can't stop thinking of you. Man wish you could remember me" I opened my eyes and saw dally with his hand on my back and looking down.

Sam: Oh hi

Dally: I'm sorry I'll uh

Sam: Actually I'm having a hard time taking a nap, it usually helps if I had someone holding me

Dally: I'll get Soda

Sam: I was hoping you would since you're already here

He cracked a smiled and got into bed with me. I laid my head on his chest as he wrapped his arm around me. I closed my eyes and he rubbed my back and humming softy. A moment passed by and I fell asleep into Dally's arm.

Darry: Can you check on Sam? It's been 2 hours and she hasn't come down

Soda: Yeah ok

Soda: Sam uh

Dally: Shh She's sleeping

Soda: All right, I'll just tell Darry she fell asleep

Dally: Won't he be mad that I'm laying next to her?

Soda: I won't tell him, I'll say you were in the bathroom

Dally: Why would you do that? You don't like me with her

Soda: I can see that you were both happy together so if you do get together I'll accept it I guess

I woke up to Dally still holding me, "how long was I out?" "About 2 hours" I got up out of bed and just sat there for a bit. He sat closer to me and put his arm around me, I smiled. He seems harmless, we got up and went downstairs.

Sam: Hey guys

Darry: How was your nap?

Sam: Better, my headache is gone

Darry: Good, Dally you can be friends with Sam but still can't be with her

Dally: Yeah I know, see you later guys

Sam: Darry why can't I be with him? He seems like a good guy

They all laughed at what I said, how was that funny? I was talking to Veronica and Betty, Jughead and Archie were having fun with Steve and Two-bit. I missed Dally, why did he leave? I really wish I knew what happened to me. All I know is that Dally said he was in love with me.

Darry: Little sis he's the one that taught you how to fight, and you started fighting all the time and getting into trouble like him

Sam: Oh, Darry why was I in the hospital?

Darry: You got into the middle of me and Dally fighting, and you got knocked out cold

Sam: Did you guys hit me?

Darry: No you tried to pull Dally away and you fell, you hit your head on that table

We continue to talk for awhile then we got bored because Soda was reading a book over Pony's shoulder and i guess Dally came back for his jacket, so i smiled at him and he winked back at me.

Sam: can we do karaoke?

Steve: I love karaoke!

Sam: Bet! I'll get the karaoke and set it up

Steve I'll help you

Sam: Hey Steve why did Darry and Dally fight?

Steve: I wish I could tell ya but I can't, come on it's karaoke time
