Chapter 5

I woke up at 3am and Soda was sound asleep, I moved his arm off me and got out of bed. I changed into shorts and a t-shit and running shoes. I put my headphones on and music I went downstairs, I guess everyone is still asleep. I left and started my morning run. A few guys were saying things to me while I was running but I didn't care, I lost focus and ran into someone.

Sam: I'm sorry

Archie: It's ok, why are you up so early?

Sam: Morning run before work, what's your name?

Archie: I'm Archie, Archie Andrews

Sam: I'm Samantha Curtis

Dally: Hey Crystal

Archie: Who's Crystal?

Sam: That's my middle name, Dal this is Archie. Archie this is my friend Dally

Dally: You better get home before Darry finds out you with some Soc

Archie: I'm not a Soc, a few of my friends and I moved here from Riverdale

Sam: Well I have to go, see you in school Archie

Dally and I walked back home, Archie seemed like a nice guy maybe we could be friends. Once we got home Darry was making breakfast, I went to shower and get ready for work. After I finished I went downstairs to eat some breakfast, Darry seemed a little different.

Darry: Good morning sis

Sam: Morning Dar

Darry: Where were you this morning?

Sam: I went for a run, but I didn't go too far

Darry: Alright, as long as you're safe

Darry handed me a plate of food and I put it down, I grabbed some coffee and then sat down. I didn't have to be at work for another hour, man I wish I was still on that run. "Soda get out of the bathroom! Other people need it!" Darry yelled, I just laughed after I finished I cleaned my plate and sat on the couch.

Johnny: Sam whatcha doin' after work?"

Sam: Not sure Johnnycake why?

Johnny: I'm catching a movie with Pony, wanna come?

Sam: Sure can I bring a friend?

Johnny: Sure that's fine with me

Steve, Soda and I left for work. Soda was making jokes and Steve was doing backflips and other things. We reached the DX and we started working, Soda and Steve were fixing cars and I was pumping gas. A familiar guy walked into the DX, he was with some friends. I went on my break so I went inside to get a Pepsi and a sandwich when i bumped into someone.

Sam: Oh sorry

Archie: We have to stop meeting like this

Sam: Yeah I guess

Archie: Samantha these are my friends and girlfriend. Betty, Jughead and my girl Veronica

Sam: It's nice to meet you all

We talked for a little then Soda and Steve came by

Soda: Thanks sis *takes the Pepsi*

Sam: That's mine!

Soda: Now it's mine sis

Sam: Guys this is my twin brother

Sodapop and his best friend Steve

Jughead: Hey I'm not the only one with a cool name

Sam: We have 2 other brothers named Ponyboy and Darry

Veronica: Ponyboy?

Sam: It's a long story, I have to get back to work. Do you want to go to the movies later?

Archie: we would love to

I threw out my garbage and took back my drink from Soda. Work was done in a few minutes, I checked my phone to see the time and it was time to go home. I gave Archie my address and then I walked home with Soda and Steve.
