Chapter 24

Finally our food came, we ate almost everything. And whatever we didn't finish Jughead ate them. After awhile we just talked and laughed, it was nice having them all here. Even Dally and Darry we're getting along it was weird. An hour passed and someone walked into Pop's, "Is Samantha here!?"

Darry: Shit Sam

Veronica: Follow me now

I followed Veronica to a secret room, it was pretty cool but I was scared. "Don't worry only us and Pop's knows about this, he won't find you here" she said to me and then pouring us a drink.

Sam: Veronica?

Veronica: Yeah

Sam: Thanks for helping me

Veronica: We're friends that's what we do

Sam: I owe you

Veronica: No you don't ok, now follow me

We walked over to this other room where you can hear everyone talking. it was definitely Matt, I can tell by his voice. What would he do if he found me?

Matt: Where is she?

Betty: Who?

Matt: You know who

Soda: She's not here man, just leave

Matt: You're her twin where is she!

Darry: Leave my kid brother alone! She ain't here

Sam: We need to call FP

Veronica: Why?

Sam: I have an idea, but you can't say anything to them ok

Veronica: If it's dangerous I would have to

Sam: No you can't ok, Dally already knows my idea. Just call FP

I left the room and walked up the stairs, I poked my head out and crawled over to Pop's. "Listen I have an idea ok, don't worry Pop's" I whispered to him everything that I was going to do. It was a risk but I have to do it.

Sam: Looking for me asshat

Darry: What are you doing!?

Sam: Don't worry about it Dar I got this

Matt: Get over here!

Sam: why don't you try to get me? *winks at Dally*

Matt: You're a dead bitch you know that!

He ran over to the counter where Pop's and I were, Pop's took something to hit him on the head with. He knocked out for a few minutes then got up. He ran towards me and grabbed my arm, Darry was yelling at me for everything I was doing. This is my battle that I would have to fight, no one should help. i twist his arm and threw him to the floor. I was able to move when he grabbed my leg. We were both fighting, but I was fighting for my life.

Dally texted Veronica to call FP, he's not gonna he happy. Within a few seconds the Serpents came, someone picked me up and moved me to the booth. "He's all yours guys" I said as I saw them all beating him up. After they saw that he was weak, I stepped in one last time.

I took out my blade and put it to his neck, "goodbye Matt" "no bitch goodbye to you!" He got up and threw me back to the floor, I still had my blade in my hand. I had to do this, he hurt me! He was on top of me trying to strangle me everyone tried to get him off me but it was no use. I found every strength in me to stab him, so I did. Next thing I knew there was blood all over me and the floor. I killed him, I really did that. After seeing the amount of blood I passed out.

Darry: Shit

Soda: That wasn't the plan

Dally: She had her own plan man

Ponyboy: Guys she passed out

Jughead: My dad is here he can help with all of this

Darry: She killed him

Johnny: It was self defense

After FP came he called the ambulance, they took her in as well. We were scared that she'll be charged for murder. But it was self defense. "Is she going to jail?" I asked FP and he shook his head no. After awhile she woke up, and we all walked in to see her.

Darry: Sam you're finally awake

Sam: Did I really kill him?

Steve: Yeah but it was badass

Sam: Thanks *laughed a little*

Darry: Why didn't you tell us what you were gonna do

Sam: Because you wouldn't have let me. This was a battle I had to fight Darry. I told Dally and Veronica, I asked them not to tell you

Darry: You knew!

Dally: Yes I texted Veronica who called FP and then the serpent came just on time like they were supposed to

Sam: Don't be mad at him Dar, I wasn't going to kill him but he was going to kill me. I had no choice

Darry: You almost got yourself killed!

Sam: I know but I didn't, I'm ok

I knew he would be mad, but I had to do this myself. Although I love everyone coming here and protecting me from Matt I had to deal with it myself. They don't know what it was like to be taken advantage of, to have them stalk you until it's over. My nightmare is now over, maybe my life can be normal again.
