Chapter 19

    I walked out of the office and waited for Steve. I was by myself and I didn't like it, I went back upstairs and went back to my doctor. "Can I stay here until my brother comes? I feel better if I'm with someone" "of course" after awhile I got nervous that I started to feel my chest hurting, and I couldn't breathe.

She helped me with some breathing technique which calmed me down a little. Finally Steve and Soda came, the doctor walked down with me. "Thank you" "of course, see you next week" I put my seatbelt on and we left to go home.

Steve: How was therapy?

Sam: Fine, but I had a panic attack

Soda: Are you ok?

Sam: I'll be ok Pepsi

Soda: Me and Steve are ready for work, are you comin'?

Sam: Yeah I don't want to be alone at home

Soda: come on I'll go inside with you, then you can change into your work clothes

We walked inside and Dally was there. I smiled and he did to, I gave him a hug and he whispered in my ear "Soda is here" "I know, he doesn't mind us being together" I went to change for work and we sat there for a few minutes, now that Dally was here I didn't want to go

Sam: See you later Dal

Dally: Later cutie

Soda: Ok come on we're gonna be late

We left to go to work, maybe dally would come later to see me. Once we got to work Steve showed me how to change the oil in the cars. It wasn't easy because I got oil all over me, but Steve helped me. I went to get us some snacks when I saw the news that Matt was charged or sexual harassment and rape who broke out of jail. I dropped everything and fell to the floor.

Soda: Shit Sam! *runs to her*

Sam: He, he *starts crying*

Soda: It's ok I'm here, I'm here

Manager: Sodapop take your sister home, she might not be safe here

Soda: Yes sir

I picked her up and put her in the car, Steve drove back home. Once we got there everyone was there, and I mean everyone. Darry looked really mad, I guess he saw the news.

Darry: Thank god you're home!

Sam: I- did you see

Darry: Yeah we saw the news, which is why you can't leave the house at all

Sam: So who will stay with me?

Darry: Since we will be in and out of the house, Dally will stay with you most of the time when no one is home

Dally: You're trusting me?

Darry: You went looking for her that night, you stayed and beat the living hell out of him with Jughead

Dally: Thank you for trusting me, she'll be in good hands

Darry: Good

Sam: Well I'm going to shower, and get this oil off me

Toni: Jug what about the Serpents?

Jughead: What about them?

Toni: They can protect Sam, we can bring them here

Jughead: I'll call my dad, he can get them on a plane by tomorrow

I sat in the bathroom thinking, "he's going to come after my family my boyfriend my friends" I had to find someway for Matt to not hurt them, maybe i should leave and never look back. I lost my train of thought when someone knocked on the door, "sam? you ok in there?"

Sam: y-yeah i'm fine

Dally: you sure? *opens the door*

Sam: I was just thinking

I got up from the floor and Dal walked me out of the bathroom, Darry looked at us and at this point i felt completely numb and wanted to cuddle with Dally just to piss him off even more which was exactly what i did. Dally held me close and tight and i felt safe and happy with him, he was different with me.

Darry: Dal can we talk

Dally: in a minute

Sam: please no fighting not today ok

Darry: whatever

Darry went to his room and i looked at everyone and it's been a few weeks. Dally is my boyfriend and i didn't want to hide it anymore, even if they disapproved it didn't matter to me because i think i'm in love with him.

Sam: um guys.. i um i want to tell you something

Steve: everything ok? do you need water, foo-

Sam: no i-um, me and Dally are um

Dal: we are together

By the look on everyone's faces they were surprised we kept it from them but in some ways they knew, but then we heard Darry storm into the living room. I guess we all knew what he was going to say and i wasn't in the mood to hear it.
