Chapter 23

Dally: We will be there tomorrow in the afternoon

Soda: And you're sure Sylvia is right? She lies a lot

Dally: He sent her a voicemail, she showed me. I hate her but she's telling the truth for once

Darry: Soda you need to get some sleep

Soda: I will, I'll tell FP in the morning. Goodnight guys

Everyone: Goodnight

I closed my phone and put it to charge. I pulled the blanket over us, she was shaking a lot. I can't believe this is happening to her, it makes me want to cry that she's like this. This plan is going to work, I know I will. A few minutes passed and I fell asleep holding Sam.

The next morning I woke up to Soda still holding me, That was some dream last night. "Good morning sis" "morning Soda, I had this awful dream" he looked at me and just held me closer to him, "what was it?"

Sam: It was about Matt and that he was coming here to Riverdale

Soda: He is coming here, it wasn't a dream

Sam: So the gang is really coming here??

Soda: Yeah, we have to tell FP to pick them up

Sam: Yeah um ok, you can call him I'll tell Toni

We got out of bed and waited for FP to come, like he said he would last night. I heard a noise and I jumped in fear hoping it wasn't Matt. I covered myself with the blanket and then I heard someone say "here's your breakfast" "Sam it's ok it just FP" he handed us food from Pop's and Soda told him about everyone coming and the plan. I really hope this plan works. "Hey it's gonna work I promise" FP said we left to go back to his house so we can shower. Once we got to the house there were 2 other people there.

Jellybean: Hi I'm Jughead's sister Jellybean

Sam: It's nice to meet you I'm Sam and this is my twin brother Sodapop

Alice: Hi I'm Alice Betty's mother

Soda: They are coming here soon FP, should I come with you?

Sam: No soda, please don't leave me

FP: Stay here with your sister I'll take Jellybean with me

I left to go shower and I was nervous. What if that plan doesn't work and they get hurt. Matt could have more people come after me and possibly kill me. I got out of the shower and changed into skinny jeans and a crop top with my favorite flannel. I put on my sneakers and then put my hair up.

Jellybean: Hey

Sam: Ahh, I'm sorry you scared me

Jellybean: I'm sorry

Sam: It's ok I'm going downstairs

Jellybean: Look my dad told me everything, they will get him. If I know my dad and the serpents they will get him

Sam: Thanks

I walked downstairs and Soda motioned me over to him, I sat next to him on the couch. I felt this sick feeling in my stomach, "something awful is gonna happen" I said laying my head onto his lap. "Don't say that, we're gonna get that asshole that took advantage of you!"

I never seen Soda so mad before, it was different. "Soda why are you so mad?" "Because he took advantage of you, you're my sister I'm supposed to protect you. This wasn't supposed to happen" he was really mad, turned him to face me and he was crying. I pulled him closer to me and we both held each other, we were both crying at this point. Soda really is my best friend, without him I would be lost.

FP and Jellybean left, I guess they went to get everyone. It was just me, Soda and Betty's mom here. She was really nice, she made us some snacks and helped me calm down whenever Soda got up to use bathroom or whatever he was doing.  An hour later I heard the door open and I jumped in fear, thanks a lot to Matt I'm scared of everything. I saw Darry and Ponyboy walk in, I ran to them giving them hugs.

Sam: I missed you guys so much!

Darry: We did too little sis

Ponyboy: Do you want me to read to you?

Sam: Was that even a question Pony?

He sat down on the couch and I said hi to everyone. Dally was the last one to walk in, he was talking to FP about the plan I guess. I went to walk over to Pony when I felt hands wrap around my waist, I jumped a little until I knew it was Dally.

Dally: Missed me?

Sam: Everyday *turned to face him*

Dally: Everything is goin' to be ok I promise

Sam: Now that you and everyone is here I know it will be

I went to sit next to Pony and Dally followed me. He started to read a book to me and I laid my head onto Dally, I knew Darry didn't like this but I needed Dally. "I missed this" I said as my eyes stared to fall, but I stopped it by sitting up.

Sam: You guys hungry?

Jughead: Can we go to Pop's I'm starving

Betty: When are you not hungry?

Sam: Is it safe to go eat?

Darry: If we all stay together I think it will be fine

Sam: Darry will this plan work?

Darry: It will, you Johnny and Pony will stay while the rest of us deal with it later

Sam: What? No I'm going

Darry: No you're not, you 3 will go to safe place. Don't need you guys getting hurt, especially you Sam

Dally: I agree with Darry on this one

Ponyboy & Johnny: Yeah Sam it's better we stay

I rolled my eyes, I got up and put my shoes on. We left to go to Pop's, we all walked there since it wasn't far from the house. Once we got there Pop's sat us at the biggest table, Jughead order 3 burgers for himself. After we ordered we just talked, I really missed them, they are my family.
