Chapter 15

We put the tokens in and the game stared, we were both laughing at each other that we both only got 3 baskets.

Sam: Looks like it's a tie

Dally: Yeah, so you wanna keep studyin'?

Sam: Nah the arcade is more fun, ski ball?

Dally: Oh yeah!

We played all kinds of arcade games, I had to text Darry where we were and that she was ok. We were having a great time. After while we got some pizza with fries. We laughed and talked for awhile. Man she was amazing, she can sing and can be competitive with arcade games. She's just perfect, but I can't be with her.

Sam: What's wrong?

Dally: Nothin' eat your pizza

Sam: I know something's wrong, just talk to me

Dally: I miss you, before we told Darry that we were dating everything was just perfect

Sam: We were dating?

Dally: Well only for a few days

Sam: That's why you and Darry fought that night and why I got hurt

Dally: Yeah, we can't be together. Only friends

Sam: Why not? Only me and you can know about us. I know Darry wouldn't like it but I'm happy with you, and that should be enough

Dally: So what are you sayin'?

Sam: I'm saying is that we secretly date, no one will know and until we think it's the right time we tell everyone. Look I don't know why I lost my memory about you, but I know how I feel and I like you Dal

She still likes me, she wants to be with me. This is crazy, this time we can't tell the gang, we can be friends around them but when they aren't around we can be a couple. Maybe it will work out

Sam: Dal?

Dally: Samantha will you be my girl?

Sam: Dallas I would love to

Dally: Great, I'm really happy

Sam: Me too

We finished eating and we went back to studying. She did some homework and then we went back to her house, we were a block away from her house. this was my chance to maybe get her memory back. I stopped her and looked into her beautiful eyes, then I kissed her. We both smiled and then walked to her house, I opened the door for her.

Darry: How was the arcade?

Sam: It was fun, I did some studying and had fun

Dally: Yeah I helped her out with the studying. She finished all of her homework too

Darry: Great, thanks for taking care of her

Dally: Anytime

Sam: When do I go back to school?

Darry: Monday

Sam: Ok, I'm going to shower

I left to take a shower and all I could think about was Dally. He may be a bad boy, but that didn't stop me from liking him. Now I'm his girlfriend and I want him here with me. I changed into comfy clothes and went downstairs, Soda was talking to some girl.

Sam: Hey Soda

Soda: Hey sis, this is Toni one Jughead's friends

Sam: Oh hi, I'm Samantha

Toni: It's nice to meet you, have you seen Jughead or Betty?

Sam: They should be at Veronica's, here's the address

Toni: Thanks, see ya around

After awhile I went outside. That kiss was... did we kiss like that before this happened? Dally really makes me happy, I get butterflies when he's around.

Soda: Why you outside Sammie?

Sam: I just wanted to get some air

Soda: It's about Dally right?

Sam: No I don't know

Soda: Yeah it is, I can tell by the look in your eyes

Sam: We had a great day, I like him Soda

Soda: Then be with him, Darry doesn't have to know

Sam: Really?

Soda: We're twins, we got each other's back

We went back inside, Soda handed me one of his sweatshirts. We sat on the couch and I laid myself on top of Soda and Pony. Two-bit was messing with Johnny and Steve was bothering Darry about when dinner will be ready.

Johnny: Oh cut it out Two-bit

Two-bit: I know you like her, ask her out

Johnny: Nah I don't know

Two-bit: She's a greaser like us just do it

Johnny: All right if it get you to shut your trap I will do it tomorrow

Soda: Can you get off me? I gotta use the bathroom

Sam: Ugh fine

Ponyboy: Come here

Sam: What's up Pony

Ponyboy: Just come with me

We left the house without saying anything and walked to the park. Why were we here? Pony laid on the grass looking at the sky, so I did the same. We watched the sun go down and it was beautiful, the different colors.

Sam: You do this a lot huh?

Ponyboy: Yeah you and Johnny are the only ones I've done this with

Sam: That's nice, it's really calming
