Just A Bittersweet Memory

Chapter 28- The Masquerade Charity Gala

We were so excited to attend the Annual Charity Gala so we arrived earlier to help Lewis' mom. Airy was with Red and Devan was with Neo.
I wore a black gown with gold accents. Lewis was wearing a black suit. I saw familiar faces although they were covered with masquerade masks.

Mr. Martin Vega was there with his wife. Some of Lewis' relatives were there too, like Ethan and his father, Mr. Gregory Parker,the brother of George Parker( Lewis' father).

There were lots of foods and drinks. Many also donated a huge amount of money for the orphans in the orphanage. The event was indeed successful.

When I was on my way to the restroom, I noticed a tall man with a silver hair, about my dad's age. He was talking with someone over the phone. I didn't mean to eavesdrop but I heard him saying, "We can't attack tonight because the place is heavily guarded!". I was so scared with what I heard so I hide immediately.

While I was hiding, somebody covered my mouth with a hankie and pulled me in the restroom. I was shocked and I can barely move.
The man who took me was laughing.
He removed his mask and said, "Did you miss me, my princess?".
I answered, "What are you doing here Liam? I will make you pay for what you did with Lewis!"

He said, "Oh! You're being protective of your boyfriend! He can never make you happy princess!"
He moved closer to me.

I said, "Stay away from me Liam!"p
I pushed him will all my strength.
He attempted to kiss me but I punched him in his throat and kicked him in his shin. Then I ran out of the restroom as fast as I could.

I bumped Ethan when I was running.
I almost fell into the ground.
He said, "Hey Mia! Are you ok?".
I held his hand and said, "Walk with me please! Somebody is following me!"
We went out and he called Lewis to meet us at the parking area.

Lewis went immediately at the parking area. Ethan told Lewis what had happened. I was very silent when we returned at the penthouse. I was thinking about what I heard from the man with silver hair and I wondered why Liam was there. I knew his parents were also there but they were aware of what he did to Lewis. It would be weird if Lewis' mom had invited Liam.

Lewis held my hand and said,
"Are you sure you're ok sweet pea?".
I answered, "I'm just tired Superman!"
I plan to tell him everything the following day but I completely forgot.

Weeks passed by and we were back to our usual routine. We won every basketball game headed by my hot Captain Lewis. Our principal called me in her office.
She said, "Mia, since you are on top of your class, you should prepare for your speech for this coming graduation." I couldn't believe that despite of the different happenings in my life, I was able to finish highschool with flying colors. Thanks for the help of my family, my friends and my Superman!

When I went home, I saw three boxes on top of my bed. There was a small card and written in it was, "Congratulations my sweet pea!".
"I only want the best for my girl!"
So I excitedly opened the three boxes. Inside the boxes were beautiful dresses for our graduation day.

As soon as my Superman arrived, I jumped into him. I wrapped my legs around his waist and I kissed his forehead, cheeks,chin and neck.

I whispered to him, "Let's take a shower together!"
He said, "Are you sure that you want to shower with me sweet pea?"
I answered, "I am ready!"
We took a bath together but we never did more than that.

When we went to bed, I told him that I am ready to have our first kiss. He said, "I'm not gonna let you do something that you will soon regret."
I answered, "Of course I am ready!"
So I pulled him on the bed. He placed some small loose hair behind my ear, he started licking my ear down to my neck. I arched my back feeling the electricity down to my spine.
He asked me again, "Are you sure sweet pea?" I nodded in agreement.

He kissed me on my lips gently.
His lips were so soft and minty just the way I imagined it. I can smell his aftershave that made him more desirable. I opened my mouth to give him more access, then our tongues danced gracefully.

This kiss is full of passion and love. I was happy because he was able to control himself for a year and he respected me. This is the first kiss that I ever wanted. I was all in and I want to give in to temptation. I was giving him full access of my body but he said, " I want your first time to be special, my sweet pea! I mean, I love you and believe me, it's f*cking hard to control myself cause I'm craving for you but we are still young!
I don't want you to give it just like that but when the perfect time comes, I will devour all of you!"

I do understand him. I knew that we will last forever so I smiled at him and kissed him again. This man is really something else. I will never ever leave this man!
