Tuğtekin turned to the brothers. Both brothers were as shocked as he was.
"The presence of an emir of the state is not a good sign, Sungurtekin bey." He muttered. Sungurtekin placed his hand on Tuğtekin's to hold him still. You can expect anything from him!
"Valiant alps of Kayi and Dodurga! Their virtuous people!" Sadetin Köpek placed his hand on his chest. "Selamunaleykum!!" All of them immediately placed their hands on their chests and greeted him back.
"Dear Emir Sadettin Kopek! You honoured our Nomad Group!" Hayme said. Korkut bey was not here as he was not feeling well. Sadetin turned to her, "We made Noyan, the archenemy of our Sultan and Our state, bend on his knees in front of us." She said. There was a clear glint of proud in her voice."You have honoured us while we were just making this blood shedder murderer pay for what he has done, You are Welcome." She nodded.
"Eyvallah! Hayme hatun!" Sadetin kopek nodded back. "I am very glad to be here in front of you," Then he turned to Noyan, "When I heard that you have captured this dishonest man, I thanked God!" At this Noyan looked at him with amusement. "This struggle that you are going through in these vast mountains," He looked around. "is worthy of admiration. I want to present my gratitude to all those valiants who have captured him." He said looking at Gundogdu. Gundogdu nodded with gratitude.
"In the name of our Sultan Aladin Keykubat, I order you to," he stopped at this, Sungurtekin stared at him. He had the feeling that there was something going on in this man's head. "Stop the execution!"
Every one snapped at him in shock! There was a great disorder in the crowd.
"We want Noyan's head!!! Kill him!!!" The voices came from everywhere. "Give him to us!! Let the justice prevailed!!"
Gundogdu, Sungurtekin and Tuğtekin were so dumbfounded to stop the crowd. So Sadettin kopek himself said,
"We announced peace with Ullu Khan Ögedei!" Tuğtekin turned to them again. There was a great horror on his face. Gundogdu nodded at him to assure him that they will do what is necessary. "This bloody war we fought for years is about to finish. From now on, no more Seljukian and Mongolian blood will be spilled." Sungurtekin's eyes went wide. What is he trying to say? No more blood means not killing Noyan abd letting him go!!
"Emir hazretleri!" Gundogdu said, "If you let me, I have a question!" He said. Sadetin nodded.
"What is the cost of this peace?" He asked. Everyone turned to Sadetin Kopek.
"I know very well how you destroyed the vanguards of this dishonest man with your brother, Ertugrul." Sadetin said. "I have endless respect for your bravery." Then he stopped and looked around. "You asked me about the cost! The cost of this peace is paid with the blood of our martyrs. Prisoners of both sides will be replaced and peace will be provided!"
Sungurtekin turned to Gundogdu. They both knew very well where he was going,
"Noyan also lies in those prisoners." He said.
They all looked at each other in horror. At that time, Sungurtekin wanted to take the sword from Gundogdu's hands and kill that bastard right here. But this was the state's matter. And this was not how they were supposed to behave. You have to use your brains instead of heart and emotions. He sighed and turned to the furious crowd. It was very difficult now to handle them. If this bastard will stay here for some more time. The crowd will kill him on their own. Without considering the order of Sultan.
"People of Kayi, Dodurga!!" He raised his hand to stop them but no one listened. He looked at his brother. Gundogdu was distressed too by the situation. But he nodded and shouted,
