5 DAYS LATER:

It was very beautiful day. There were clouds on the sky. It looked like it will be raining that day. Nuray wanted to go outside the tribe but Selcan was not ready to go. She had some work left so she was busy. Gokce, Selcan's sister, was not very frank with Nuray yet so she could not ask her. After some thinking she decided to go by herself. She could defend herself if something happen. She thought and pick up her basket to collect herbs. Once she was out of the tribe she went towards the forest. It was beautiful out here. She always found the never ending solace she longed for in the forest. The nature around her made her feel blessed than ever. She must have been wandering for sometime when she heard footsteps behind her. Someone was chasing her. Her hand immediately went towards her dagger. Once she had a firm grip of the dagger she quickly turned around and tried to attack the chaser. But he was more quicker than her. With a swift movement, he held her hand containing the dagger and gave it a jerk. The dagger slipped from her hand and hit the floor with a voice.

"It's not good for a lady to wander outside the tribe alone when there is mongols threat every where. Particularly a young one!" The hooded and veiled man said in a low voice. Nuray stared at him with clear anger in her eyes. He had let her go and she was rubbing her wrist now. He really had a firm grip.

"It's not appropriate for a man to chase a woman in the forest. Particularly who is alone!" She snapped at him. The warrior laughed whole-heartedly, throwing his head backwards.

"You really are a quick witted woman." He then said, bending down to pick up her dagger. She didn't say anything just took the dagger from him and placed it in the sheath.

"So you find yourself a new home?" He asked once she had picked up her basket too. Watching her with amusement in his black eyes, the only feature shown behind his hood and veil.

"Yes, and they are really good people." She smiled. They both were now walking in the forest.

"Indeed they are." He said. For sometime they both remained silent. Then Nuray asked,

"Can I ask your name?"

"No." Came the quick answer.

"Okay, Can I see your face?"

"No!"

"What is your realtion with Hayme Ana?" She asked. He stopped short in his steps and turned to her eyeing her intently. She turned her gaze away as she waited for the answer.

"Every Alp in the tribe is her son and I am one of them!!" He said after some moments.

"Why don't you come to the tribe then?" She asked.

"You are a curious woman, you know that? It's a very good time for you to go back to your tribe! It will be raining soon enough!" He said turning back in the forest.

"You didn't answer!" She said following him.

"Because I am not bound to answer you." He replied and carried on. She remained silent for the rest of the way home. When they reached the edges of the tribe he turned to her.

"Haidi eyvallah!!" He nodded.

"Eyvallah!" She smiled and went towards the tribe. When she reached there she saw a beautiful young woman alongwith an old man entering the tribe. They eyed her suspiciously and stopped.

"Who are you and what do you want?" The woman asked.

"I am Nuray Hatun and I am entering my tribe." Nuray replied.

"So you are one of the Dodurgas!" The woman said. Nuray was about to give her a reply that she was not, when a little girl came forward and greeted them.
