Both brothers reached for their swords but Noyan was quicker than both of them. He hit the hand of Ertugrul first which was on the hilt of the sword and then hit Sungurtekin in the chest. This gave Ertugrul the time to stand up and fight. Everyone in the hall was now fighting with them. Sungurtekin had fallen back on the ground. Noyan quickly took out the seal from beneath the bowl. Sungurtekin was far from his sword so he picked up another bowl that was placed on the table and hit two of the enemies in their heads. In a moment he was able to take one of their swords so he started to fight with that one. During his fight he also took out the dagger out from its sheath in his other hand. Ertugrul was stranded in the other conrner of the hall. Sungurtekin quickly glanced at him. He was able to protect himself so he focused his mind on the enemies before him. There was a lot of them.

"The day I learned about your betrayel, I dedicate your carrion to the spirtual powers, Sungurtekin." Noyan roared standing in the center of the fight. Sungurtekin was not even able to answer him. The sword he had stollen from the enemy was not good enough for him so he let it fall and started fighting with his hands. Ertugrul was quickly killing and reducing the numbers of the army while Sungurtekin was only injuring them.

"I will offer your carrions to the souls. The seal of Oguz Khan will be my award," Noyan said and with that he left the hall with the seal in his hands. Sungurtekin looked at him with horror and turned to Ertugrul. He was about to finish his side so he turned back to the enemies and again stole one of their swords. This one was better than before. He kept on fighting as Ertugrul did the same. Killing the last and sparing the others on his brother's side, Ertugrul turned to go outside to stop Noyan. He was killing everyone who came across his path. Sugurtekin was also killing everybody now and still there were so many of them. One of them attacked him from the front, Sungur quickly put the sword in front of his face horizontally. The one on his left tried to take the advantage of the moment and attacked him. But Sungur was quick enough to stop him. He immedietly backed off and picked up a log from the floor. Then it was only a moment's task for him to handle them all. He was stopping the attacks of swords on the sword in his hand and was himself attacking with log causing a lot of them to faint. Then he threw the log with all his strength on one of the enemies who was still far from his reach. Now there were only two to go. But he was wrong. Just when he thought he had killed the last one, two men came out of nowhere. One of them attacked him from front and while Sungurtekin was busy in dealing with him, the other attacked him from behind. His dagger pierced the flesh of Sungurtekin's body beneath his left ribs. The weight of the man also caused him to fell on his knees. The man held his face and was about to kill him when a yelp escaped his mouth and Sungur quickly moved his hands and took out the dagger from his own flesh and with a quick movement attacked the enemy with the same dagger in his throat. Now he was on the floor and the pain in his left side was more than he had imagined. The strength was draining from his body as he found the black spots forming in front of his eyes. That was just a dagger then why is it effecting me so much? He thought. Just then a clanking of metal caused him to open his eyes. Ertugrul had stopped the man who was about to kill him. He quickly killed him and turned to his brother.

"Abi?" Sungur looked at him with his half opened eyes. "Abi? Abi?" Ertugrul was yelling at him.

"Did you take it?" Sungur asked him about the first thing that came into his mind upon seeing him.

"I took it, Abi. I took it." Ertugrul nodded. Sungur smiled and placed his hands on Ertugrul's chest.

"My valliant brother." He smiled. That was the last thing he said before going into the darkness.

"Abi? Abi!!!" Ertuğrul started yelling at him. "Open your eyes, For God's Sake. Abi." He looked around for some help but there was no one. "Hang on, Abi. Hang on!" He said and went to his table to pick up his sword. Then he supported him to stand. Sungurtekin had got back his conciousness as they both made their way outside the hall.
