"Why do you not tell me clearly, what is going on, Emir Sadettin Köpek?" Gümüştekin asked in a sharp voice. He had been sitting there for a long time and Sadetin Kopek had not even looked at him. He was busy in making a fine art piece on the wood placed in front of him. At this, he stopped for a moment and then carried on.

"Do you not trust me?" Asked Gümüştekin. "First Sungurtekin, then the seal of Oğuz Khan and now Noyan!" Sadetin looked up.

"You got what you want!" He snapped. "As I stated in my letter there is no obstacle left in your way to being margrave."

"What about Noyan?" Gümüştekin asked. "How does he know everything?"

"I removed the Mongolian's spy from the palace, Gümüştekin!" Sadetin said.

"The biggest trouble is that bastard Noyan! Don't you know that?" Gümüştekin insisted.

"Noyan will not do anything stupid!" Sadettin said. "You will do at the headquarters, what will be necessary! Leave the rest to me." He said then turned to him. "Did you bring the seal?" Gümüştekin stared at him for sometime then took out the small bag from his waist band. He opened the small bag and took out the seal. Just when Sadatin Köpek was about to take the seal, he took it away.

"How can you be so sure that Noyan will not cause any trouble to me?" He asked.

"Noyan will not be able to cause any trouble to anybody." Sadettin declared. Then he nodded to a solider standing behind him. He placed a bag on the table in front of Gümüştekin. Sadetin leaned the bag down making the golden coins fall out.

"This gold is for your margrave!" Sadettin said. "If anybody is against your margrave you will bring them down on heel with this gold. If anybody is stubborn then you will bring them down with poison. If it is not enough then you will use your sword." He said. "As for the seal, the seal will open for us many locks and will guide us. Now give me that seal." He held his hand out. Gümüştekin placed the seal on his palm reluctantly.

"Now go and donot let the beys destroy the peace in the headquarters." Sadetin said. "Do not forget, if there is no state then there is no margrave." Gümüştekin stared at him then stood up to leave. He was seeing himself sitting on the beylic chair in the marquees of turkmen tribes.

...........................

After the dinner in the marquee they both came outside for a walk. They kept walking until they were outside the tribe. Nuray was just following him. She thought whether he knew where he was going or not. When he didn't told her anything, she increased her pace and crossed him. He immediately stopped when she stood in front of him.

"What is wrong? You were silent throughout the dinner and now too. Is everything okay?" She asked nicely. He looked around in confusion.

"What is this place?" He asked.

"I don't know! I just followed you to here!" She shrugged.

"What? Why didn't you stop me earlier?" He asked turning back.

"I thought you have something to tell me. That's why you were coming this way." She said following him back.

"Why would I take you outside the oba in this darkness?" He asked. "What would the alps think?"

"They will think nothing." She said. "Are you okay? You don't seem to!" Sungurtekin stopped, turned to her then shook his head.

"This Noyan matter is eating me up, Nuray hatun. I don't want to let him go." He sighed.

"Then don't," Nuray said. "You don't have to, just let them execute him. He deserves that."

"I have to, Nuray, I have to." Sungurtekin shook his head. "The circumstances will be devastating if I will not stop them." Nuray got furious at his reply.
