"So I'll be there in a while," Blake says and I end the call.

It had been a while since Blake asked me to tutor him, so I was actually confused why he still needed me.

Now, we mostly hung out when he wanted to go out for a ride on his bike and I wasn't one to say no to that.

I told myself it was because it was an awesome bike, but I knew it was just a lame excuse to spend time with Blake. Maybe get the chance to hug him.

What sucks though is that Blake wasn't making it any easier. From what I have noticed and learned in the short while we have hung out together is that Blake is a very flirty person.

He flirts with me, so I figure he must do it with many females, and his reputation precedes him.

What sucks even more is that whenever I try to decline his offer, he uses his stupid smile and convincing ways to somehow get me to agree on hanging out with him.

"Hey," he says stepping into my dorm. His hands hands circled my waist as he pulled me in a hug.

And that, was considered normal. Apparently friends did that?

My arms went to his neck as he pulled me closer. "What were you doing?" He whispers in my ear, still holding me.

I pull away and try to avoid the frown placed on his lips, as I clear my throat. "Just watching 'The Office'." I say.

"Nice, anyway, want to go on a ride?" he asks.

"Didn't you say you needed help studying," I remind him.

"Sure, later, lets go for a ride first," he offers a hand and leads me out.

He takes my hands and places them on his body as he starts his bike.

The ride is fun, like usual, with the casual stop where he holds me or places his hands on my thigh.

Once we finally reached to his place, I walk towards his room when he told me he needed a glass of water.

From a faint voice in the kitchen, I heard what seemed like Bryce talking to Blake. "So you're just going to sulk around? Never try with her? Man the fuck up dude!" I hear Bryce say.

"I fucking can't, dude. She is just a friend, and that's all she wants," Blake's angry and annoyed voice grimaces through their kitchen.

When I heard a firm pat on the back and an annoyed gruff, I took that as a sigh that Blake was coming, so made my way quickly to his room.

Hoping, that he wouldn't find out that I listened. I figure the girl that only wants to be friends with him has dozens of men lined up, because I mean... it's Blake Gray for crying out loud.

You know how you secretly wish the most unrealistic crushes like you. Yeah, me too.

When he stepped into the room, he had a small smile plastered on, obviously fake. But what I wish he had done, was talk to me.

Blake tells me whenever I have the smaller problems, to rant to him. But even though it would kill me with extreme jealousy, I'd try to help him as hard as I can, because he was a friend.

"So, what did you need help in?" I pry.

"Well, after you showed me some stuff for a week, I got the hang of it, but the test is coming up. And it kinda decides if I get to play or not, so I didn't want to take any chances." He says grabbing his books.

"Oh yeah, sure,"

For a couple hours from then, we study all the notes I've been over in my test prep to make sure he doesn't miss anything on the test.

In biology, the assignments that Blake is handing in always get B's which makes him so happy. I have no doubt he will do good in the test too.

Then he'll get to play.

Then we'll stop hanging out.

So we needed to do everything we wanted to complete before then. Because even though Blake has proved to me that he is not one to drop someone out of their life, sometimes when there is no use of someone, people just stop hanging out with him.

And it sucked to say that I believed my expiry date was coming about. Only a couple weeks.

"So, what are you doing for thanksgiving?" He asks.

"I usually go to Lila's house," I whisper, not wanting to get in depth of why I don't like spending thanksgiving with my family. "What about you?" I ask.

"Usually, Aubrey and I go to dozens of fast food restaurants and order different order and eat them all. Since all of Sway is gone, she comes over." He explains. And by the hesitance in his tone, I figured he didn't want to be asked about thanksgiving plans either.

"You wanna come?" He asks with a hinted smile.

"What? No it's okay, it's your tradition," even though thanksgiving with Blake and Aubrey sounded ten times better then going to Lila's home and imposing on their family dinner once again, it was their cute sibling tradition; something I killed for.

I couldn't take it away from them.

"No, please. It would be amazing if you came. Aubrey was the one that recommended it and I told her, 'are you sure? Because you are kinda dumb in the head' but she was like yeah, we'll deal with it," he jokes and I roll my eyes.

"Are you absolutely sure?"

"Yes, Brynn, have dinner with us. We also watch weird movies that Aubrey chooses, so I guess you will like that," he says, packing his things.

"Alright, I'll join you two, thank you," I say, genuinely.

"No problem, Brynn,"

There it is again, the gut reaching butterflies that appear when Blake does something so simple as to say my name.

"So, I'll see you in a couple days?"

"Yeah, I'll pick you up," he smiles and I head out to where Lila said she would be picking me up from.
