"You were the girl Brynn. I talked to Bryce because he knew how scared I was to ask. I pushed away every guy from you at the club because I couldn't stand seeing someone else with you," I assure her.
I love Brynn Kelsey. And she was it for me.
Her eyes hold water that she keeps strongly in them. Because she is strong, as hell.
"A-A while back. After your test. You pushed me away. I thought you would be happy. And you lied," she whispers.
I internally yell at myself for the stupid mistakes I made because I was too pussy to ask out Brynn.
"That day, I almost said I love you. And I was too damn scared that you wouldn't say it back. That day, showed me how far I was from you. From getting you." I say holding her tightly.
Because now, she was mine. The love of my life loved me back. And nothing could fucking ruin this moment for me.
"You were always close to me Blake," she whispers. "I was scared too. That you would not feel the same." She whispers and I feel like laughing.
"That was the farthest from the truth you could get baby, because I've wanted to ask you out since I saw you at the Starbucks." I say and her eyes widen.
"You waited too long," she teases with a smile and I laugh, nodding. "You're right, I did. But it doesn't matter anymore. You're mine now. I love you Brynn." I end off, bending down to kiss her cheek.
Brynn hadn't had her first kiss yet, and I would wait to be it whenever she was ready. I wouldn't steal her first kiss.
"I love you too," she whispers and leans up to meet my lips.
As shocking as it was, I took mere seconds to respond by kissing her back. Kissing Brynn was not like the others. Yeah it sounds cliché but it's the truth. Her in my arms is the feeling that I could never get rid of, it's the feeling that I never want to give up.
Her hands go to reach my neck and I grip her waist tighter with one hand, and my other holds her cheek and neck.
Her soft lips fell into mine perfectly and when she pulled away, I was smiling like a crazy idiot.
"Looks like you got your two hopes/ wishes done in one day." I whisper to her.
"What?"
"You got to experience snow, and your first kiss." I smirk and she blushes.
Remind me to always say things to Brynn to make her blush. Because I could never get rid of that image. She was absolutely amazing.
The soft rose colour on her cheeks showed me I affected her as much as she affected me. I loved knowing it.
"The snow is beautiful," she whispers looking into my eyes.
Everything about this girl was amazing. She was the definition of a perfect human. And somehow, the purest, most innocent creature got placed in my grasp. And loves me.
God must love me for some odd reason.
"I fucking love you, Brynn," I say again and she grins pulling me in for another kiss.
"I f-ing love you too," and with that coming out of her mouth, we hear a loud voice blasting through our ears.
"DID SHE SAY YES?" Bryce asks over a microphone from the roof of the building.
I nod vigorously and all the Sway boys on the roof cheer. They start clapping and have a group hug with Lila, because she came up with most of the plan.
"So, how'd the snow come?" She asks.
"Well, you see the two buildings—" I point to them as she nods. "Half of the boys are on one with a snow machine, and the other half on the other, with Lila, and another snow machine," I point and she stays amazed.
"I know it isn't real, baby, but I'll show you real snow for sure, we have all the time in the world." I whisper putting my forehead onto hers.
"It's perfect. And amazing. Thank you," she whispers against my face.
Without another word, I pull her to me and kiss her once again. The boys and Lila cheer from the roof and I smile against her moving lips.
I was kissing the most beautiful women or there. And she was all mine.

BIG AUTHORS NOTE:
as you could probably tell 'In Return For' is coming to an end. *THIS ISN'T THE LAST CHAPTER!* It seems short but I don't want to push it too far so it isn't that good anymore. Anyway, that moves me on to the next book in the series.
