"Who is that mystery guy?"
Jenna pushed her glasses up and observed me intently, her strong British accent lurking in her slurry voice. She possessed a strong British accent and most of the times, I couldn't focus on what she had to say as I simply drooled over it.
"Nobody, I mean for heaven sakes I just met him, " I spoke promptly, trying to convince them for the hundredth time.
"Oh, really? Sister, you went out with him." Jenna emphasized each word slowly and sharply.
Prying my eyes off her face, I played with my fingers, trying to hide the flushing warmth of my cheeks.
"Honey, for the hells sake, you can't even say his name without blushing, " Caroline busted in the room, a steaming cup of coffee grasped in her hands.
And here comes Caroline! The devil of hell.
Even the satan must fear her!
To my everlasting embarrassment, they both burst into an episode of crazy laughter, making me fume in red hot anger.
"Ugh, you guys totally suck, " I hid my face with my hands, pushing back the element of shame in my voice.
Placing the cup on the wooden table by the door, Caroline made her way over to me. I watched her dubiously as she slumped on the bed next to me.
"Wouldn't you want to tell me the details? The spicy details?" Caroline danced her brows, a hint of tease and amusement settling in her voice.
My eyes flickered to the cup of hot coffee, the steam evaporating from it and I imagined smashing it on Caroline's head.
Composing myself, I trailed with a sigh, "There are no details. We just met...,"I tried to explain my point but was cut off with Jenna's remark, "Of course, you met him, woman. You went out with him. You liked him. We already know that."
"Don't tell me that you are in love with him already, " Caroline batted her lashes, pinching my left cheek and I pushed her back slightly, making her land on the bed and earning a giggle from her.
"You know what? Caroline Forbes from the TVD was right. You guys aren't even worth the calories I'm wasting on you." I sneered, slightly frustrated.
Just then, a cushion abruptly slapped across my face.
Instinctively, a whimper escaped my lips. "Ouch, that hurt!" I semi-yelled, throwing daggers at Jenna who stood by the cabinet, smirking.
"That was definitely worth the calories." Caroline cracked into a chuckle, sinking further in the mattress.
"Go to hell!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, clutched the cushion in my hand and threw it back at Jenna.
It missed her, simply bouncing against her shoulder which made me even more enraged.
"Chill dude! We are just playing with you, " Jenna chirped, giggling like an idiot.
"Let's come to the point. When are you going to introduce him to us." Caroline spoke effortlessly, sitting upright and marching towards her coffee.
"Soon, probably," I sighed, twirling a strand of my hair, the frown being wiped away from my face.
"Fair enough, then."
"I can't believe my baby has grown up. I'm so proud of you!" Caroline exclaimed, jumping on her feet.
How could anyone be so annoying and attractive at the same time?
"You are an idiot. Did you know that?" I scowled, snapping my brows together.
"Did I know that? Yes, I do." She rolled her eyes at me and made a goofy face.
Intimidating her expression, I mocked her, knowing that it would enrage her. Her expression changed completely and I was happy that I had succeeded in bringing the worst of her. Hastily, she placed her cup back and drooped down to retrieve the cushion, flunging it at me with a massive force.
It hit me right on my face. Snickering, I threw the cushion back at her, earning a point this time.
The discussion came to an end with a vicious pillow fight! We couldn't be anymore crazier than we already were. We were more than perfect together! Just the three of us.
