Chapter 7

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

a week passed, and I wasn't able to meet up with the turtles because of school and seeing my grandparents who came to visit from Texas. I started to feel bad for not letting my new friends know about my busy schedule. I still have Mikey's drawing in my backpack, so I decided to go ahead and frame it on the wall. I found an old picture frame in my mom's closet, and put the drawing inside it. I hung it up on the wall of my room, and stared at it from a moment. "perfect." I smiled and that is until I saw a familiar face in the reflection of the glass frame. I turned around, and it was Mikey. he was waving at me with his usual innocent smile, and he was talking but it was hard to hear him because the window was sound proof. I opened the window, and he rolled inside and looked at me. "hey (Y/N)." I looked at him as I helped him up. "aren't you with your brothers? and did you ran all the way here?" I noticed he was panting, catching his breath. "my bros are back home. I went by myself, and I didn't tell them I was coming to see you." my eyes widened a bit. "you went by yourself? especially without telling your brothers?" he nodded, and looked around my room as we sat on my bed next to each other. "nice place you got here. before I left, my cat Klunk wanted to go with me but I left him alone on my bed because I know a cat like him shouldn't come out here with all the dangers around." I looked at him curiously. "I didn't know you have a cat." he nods and smiles at me. "yeah. I found him one day in the snow. he was all alone and cold. so I took him in." I looked at him and smiled. he smiled back, and I noticed he starts to get a little closer to me. "um....(Y/N)? I....um..." he looks down, and I noticed he's blushing hard. I can tell he's becoming shy for what he wants to say. "*sigh* never mind.....You must think I'm.....stupid." I rubbed the back of his shell, and comforted him. "you're not stupid Mikey. I know how lonely you feel. I understand that mutants and humans living in harmony may not work out at first. but maybe in the future, it can work." he looks at me sadly. "how can you be so sure? my brothers are....doubting it. even sensei. I guess I'll never be worth it for anyone." I scoot closer to him, and hug him softly. "Mikey.....you're more than just a turtle....you're special. that's what I like about you. you never complain and you enjoy everything you see. plus, you don't judge others and accept everyone. I like you Mikey." he hugs back and he suddenly hugs a little tighter not wanting to let go. "you....really mean that?" I nodded and responded in a soft tone. "yes...always." he smiles and looks at me as I looked at him back. we looked into each other's eyes, and he slowly leans in forward. I didn't hesitate, so I let him. our lips soon met and he kissed me. it was very sweet and passionate, the kiss deepened a bit. we then pulled away, and we smiled at each other. he then spoke what he really wanted to say. "I...I love you (Y/N). the moment I saw your cute face, I knew you'd be the one for me. I know we just met, kinda. but....I wanna be with you. so....will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled and whispered in his ear. "I'd love to." we cuddled for a few moments until I heard the door open. "(Y/N)! I'm home!" I gasped and Mikey immediately gets up and grabs his board. "Well, time for me to dash out!" he jumps out to the balcony, and and looks at me. "can you come to the lair tomorrow? I was thinking we can have dinner. you know?" I chuckled and looked at him with a smirk. "yeah. but um....would your brothers be home?" he shook his head. "nah. they'll be on a mission to fight some purple dragons, but I'll be around though." I nodded and responded. "okay. I'll see you later then." he smiles wide and grabs his board. "right back at ya Angel cakes." he blows me a kiss goodbye, and runs off as I watched from afar. I smiled wide and closed the window getting ready for bed.

Mikey's P.O.V

I rode my skateboard, across from building to building with a big smile on my face. I couldn't be any happier. my heart was pounding like crazy, my eyes were glowing bright and my smile was so wide, it almost hurt my face, but I didn't care. I stopped and watched the full view of the city. I then yelled out loud with excitement I couldn't help myself at all. "WHAT'S UP NEW YORK!! THIS HERO IN A HALF SHELL, FINALLY HAS A GIRLFRIEND!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!" I jumped up and down talking to myself with pride. "Mikey you are one lucky-" I then stopped smiling when I saw Leo. "uh...hey Leo. what are you doing here? I thought you were sleeping." Leo crosses his arms and I looked down with guilt. "I'm in trouble am I?..." Leo was silent for a few minutes and starts to talk but in a very stern and upset way. "go to the lair!" I swallowed my saliva nervously, and stuttered a few words wanting to explain. "b-but Leo-" Leo's eyes turn into anger and talks again. "Now Mikey!!!" I jumped a bit when he yelled at me, and nervously went back to the lair with him. I had a bit of a feeling something like this would happen. now Leo knows, and maybe even Donnie, Raph, and Sensei knows too. as we got to the lair, my other two bros and sensei were there. "I found him with (Y/N) at her place. I saw them make googly eyes at each other, and they kissed." they all looked at me and I sat there looking down. I was too scared to talk. Sensei walks up to me, and put his paw on my shoulder. "Son.....is it true? you love this human girl?" they all waited for me to answer, but I didn't want to. "Quit playing innocent Mikey! tells us the truth!" Raph yelled, as Donnie stops him. "Raph. enough." Raph shakes his head, and I still didn't want to speak. Sensei looks at me and talks. "Michelangelo. if you don't tell the truth, then you would leave me no choice but to put you into the Hashi. do you understand my son?" I slowly nodded, and started to sob a bit. "yeah...it's true....I love her...." they all stared in complete shock. Sensei shakes his head and sighs. "do you not realize what you're putting us and that girl through?...." I looked up at my own dad, and tears are in my eyes. my sadness then turned into anger. "I don't care dad. I don't care what any of you say. (Y/N) and I are happy. and you can't stop it." I get up, and slowly walk to my room, as they all stared at me without another word. stupid Leo. how dare he ruin a moment that was beginning to go great and just blow it.....It's completely unfair on my part. I'll show them that love isn't a harmful thing....I'll show them all.....
