Ch. 1 | A Surprising Job

"What a great day!" I said while handling the fan I bought in Lakeside Shop "You still haven't found a job?" Alissa asked me.

"Yeah," I replied with such sadness in my eyes.

"I'm sure you'll find one soon! You know maybe fate?" Katherine said

"Fate? Ugh, that was so never going to happen" I sighed.

"You should believe in it! Someday!"

"Well you know, I lost my Reviewers yesterday, I never find a job, I failed the Mathematics Exam. But not only that you know, but I also failed Science! Why would I believe in that word!"

"Well let's just keep going, fate will like you soon." Alissa said

While walking we found an Old Woman got hit by a Bicycle. The old woman's things got scattered and rolling on the road. I quickly ran into the guy with the vehicle and I shouted. "HEY!"

"Come back here you Jerk!" I shouted once again

The man on the bicycle turned and went into me, looking all angry and disappointed. He shouldn't look like that because he's the one who did something wrong!

"You should help granny up! You hit her!" I said to the Man

"I don't care about her, And you! You're just a schoolgirl, nothing much! How dare you talk back to an elder!" He shouted at me, too.

"You should stop, Selena!" Alissa said while hiding behind me

Katherine helped granny up and picks her newly-bought vegetables while I have a serious talk with this jerk.

"I know I'm talking back to an elder but I am telling and doing what's right!" I said. "She's older than you. Look at her vegetables. It's all scattered! You should just help her and don't be a hit n' runner!"

While being angry to him, someone at his back tapped his shoulders, and then the guy looked back. The guy's face looked very startled.

"How dare you make right thing a wrong thing!" The woman Said

"Ah- ma'am! I-'m really sorry!" He said these and looks like he's begging her

"You should say sorry to them or you are fired" she said to the Man

"I'm really sorry! I'm not doing this again! Sorry, Granny!" The man said and left suddenly

"Please take care, ma'am!" The Woman Said while handing her Vegetables

"Thank you, Child."

The old woman left while waving at us

"Selena" She said.

"H-How do you know my name, Miss?" I asked

"I heard it when I was back there" She replied.

"Are they your friends?" She asked me.

"Yes Miss, This is Katherine and this is Alissa!"

"Hi, Miss!" They greeted.

She seems like she belongs to a Rich Family. She was carrying a Gucci bag and an iPhone, Looking beautiful in her office suit.

"By the way I'm Ashley! Nice to meet you girls" she said. "I'm so proud because you all stood up for an old woman. That guy is one of my employees. There's also a rumor that he bullies his colleagues, but I guess it's true. I didn't believe it at first because it's just a rumor."

"By the way, What brings you girls here?" She asked us

"We're finding a job for Selena, Miss Ashley!" Alissa said
