"What?" Margo asks, jumping towards the group of trees, "You've got to be kidding me!"
"No, I'm serious there's another one, it's a little smaller than the one on the hill," Rowan says, smiling, "And it's all ours, guys."
We move over to bend back a few more of the little trees and see that in the middle of the little circle is indeed a small cornucopia.
"Let's go over all of the stuff that we have," Bran says.
From the backpacks that we all grabbed come four knives, given to me, along with a small retractable spear for Margo, two small broadswords for Bran and Harvey, four water bottles, three of which are full, two sleeping bags, multiple packets of jerky and berries, split evenly between the six of us, and some rope. Then, we dig into the new cornucopia, which has a few more sleeping bags, more knives and swords, a bow and some arrows, a few axes that are given to Rowan and Ivy, three more water bottles, all full, and enough food to double what each of us have, plus two more large packs that we give to Ivy and Harvey, since they got the two smaller ones. In the very back of it is a kit with some first aid stuff, and a small flashlight.
"Oh my god, this is amazing! Do you think that there's one on every island?" Ivy asks.
"There could be," Rowan says, "But we should just stay here for the time being. It's safe right now, and the extreme heat and cold training, I don't think it'd be a good idea to go to the hot or cold looking islands."
"You guys noticed how each of the islands looks like a season right? Like this is Fall Island, the hot and cold ones look like Summer and Winter," Margo asks.
"Yeah, that was my idea too. What do you the name's going to be? Like is it the Four Seasons Arena or like the Islands of the Year or...NO! No! I got it, The Islands of Time," Ivy rambles, waving her hands out in front of her for dramatic effect, causing us to laugh.
"In all seriousness though, we should set up a camp," I say, "We can set up our sleeping bags in and around the cornucopia in this little circle, and whoever's on guard can stand outside of it. Does that sound like a good idea?"
The idea is followed by nods and 'yes's'.
"Awesome," I say.
We fix up all of our stuff and pick which corner we want of the tiny clearing and attempt to figure out who will end up on watch when.
"I don't think that anyone of the same district should be on the same watch. No offense to anybody, but it should be two people that aren't siblings guarding our spot for like two- or three-hour clips. That way we know for sure that nobody will be running off in the middle of the night. There can be three shifts, like me and Margo, Alexia and Rowan, and Ivy and Harvey," Bran suggests.
"I like that idea," I say.
"So, do I," Ivy and Margo say.
"Then it's settled. Later tonight, me and Margo can take the first watch," Bran says, looking to Margo for approval. She nods in agreement.
"Cool," Harvey says.
We sit in silence for a few minutes.
"I feel like we should be doing something," Ivy says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Well like, I feel like we should be making weapons or looking for extra fresh water or hunting for dinner or something," she replies.
