Chapter 5 Back stories

Buttercup P.O.V

(Buttercup's dream)

I open my eyes only to see that I'm in a dark place. I walk around to see if anyone was in here but all I see is black its like an endless black place.

"Hello is anybody here?" I call out hoping for any response but sadly none.

I turn around and to my surprise someone was in here. I can't tell who he or she was because she's like 9 or 10 meters away. I walk towards it and it looks like..its a lady.

"Hey do you know where we are?" I ask curiously as I keep walking forward to her. I didn't get any response from her so I walk faster.

I can now see clearly who she was and stop walking. I can feel my tears streaming down on my cheeks.

I walk slowly towards her and ask "m-mom?" With that she stretch her arms to hug me. I didn't waste anymore time and quickly run towards her and hug my mother tightly. I can't believe it she's really here.

"My Buttercup..you've grown a lot" she look down to me and wipe away some tears.

"I miss you" I said still hugging her tightly and not letting her go.

"I miss you too sweetie" with that I start to tear more as I hug her and she hugs me. I wish this will last forever.

(End of her dream)

I gasp as I got up and I can feel my cheeks are wet. Probably from my tears. "So..it was just a dream then.." I said to myself feeling kinda sad and more tears want to get out but I hold them back.

I turn my head only to see my maid standing besides my bed with a confuse, worried, and surprise look on her face at the same time.

"Miss are you ok? You were crying while sleeping" the maid ask a bit concern.

"Yeah I'm fine" I lied and quickly get up to wash my face and take a quick shower. Then after that I put on a lime green sweater and some black jogging pants with a white stripes on it. With that I grab my phone to check what time is it. But when I open my phone, I see one notification that made a single tear fall on my cheeks.

"Oh its..mom's birthday" I said to myself as I wipe my tear away. I turn around to see that the maid was still standing there.

I want to shout at her to get out of my room but wierdly I don't feel like getting mad anymore. I just walk past her and get out of my room. I don't feel like talking so I just keep quiet.

I head down stairs only to see Butch cooking. Again. I turn my head to dad and he looks a bit concern of me. I shrug it off and went to sit down on the dinning table waiting for breakfast. Honestly I don't feel like eating either but I have to anyway.

I feel a hand wrap around on my shoulder. I take a quick look to see who it is. And I saw my dad hugging me.

"Sweetie its okay..its gonna be okay.." my dad said trying to comfort me. I just put on a fake smile and put his hand away from me. He let out a small sigh.

"I need to go to work now bye Buttercup, bye Butch" with that he left. I just look down and before I know, there was already a plate with food on it right infront of me. I stare at it and took the spoon and play with my food.

Butch P.O.V

"Sweetie its okay..its gonna be okay.." mr Matsubara said as he wrap his hand around Buttercup's shoulder. She put on a fake smile and put his hand away on her shoulder. What's going on?

Mr. Matsubara let out a small sigh. "I need to go to work now bye Buttercup, bye Butch" with that he left and I respond with a nod and a small smile.
