Saturday morning suddenly became his favorite morning. Waking up next to her was another form of bliss. And he didn't regret a single thing about last night. They did nothing wrong in the first place. Y/N was still asleep, nuzzled against him. He gently shifted realizing how uncomfortable his lower half was. Morning woods because of her weren't half bad either. He freed his hand from under her head gently and brought her closer again with his other hand. His eyes were glued to her sleeping form as he gently combed through her hair again, waiting for her to wake up.
And soon enough her eyes opened too. His gentle touch, his warmth, his scent, it all washed over her. And made her smile. Yes, she needed that on an everyday basis. Shifting a bit so she could look at him, the woman couldn't help but notice the slight poking against her thigh. A chuckle left her lips as their eyes met. Aizawa stopped in his tracks.
'Good morning, Shota.' Y/N flashed him a smile.
'Morning, Y/N. Did I wake you up?' morning Aizawa was her favourite Aizawa.
'Even if you did, I wouldn't complain.'
Y/N turned to face him with her whole body, nuzzling her face in his chest.
'Do you... Regret waking up like that?' Aizawa's words were almost inaudible, his face was slightly flushed, as he fumbled with her hair.
'Not at all. It was a stupid question. Forget it.'
It was a fact that Y/N wasn't as grumpy this morning. And that he didn't feel tired at all. Maybe it was really alright.
'You're going out with Hizashi today, right?' of cousre it was a part of the plan, but he couldn't help but feel jealous.
'Yeah, he suddenly called me the other day, saying he needed help with partner hunting. He's probably gonna drag me all around town for stupid things. But that's Hizashi for you.' she giggled, looking up. 'Are you gonna stay here?'
'Yeah. If you say I may.' he looked away, still shy.
'Of course.'
Much to their displeasure, they parted and went on with their morning routine. Y/N put on some makeup while Aizawa was taking a shower. And she patiently waited for him to get out so she could say goodbye.
His hair was wet, his upper body too, exposed to the eye. A towel was hanging loosely around his waist. He'd shaved too. And he was clearly surprised that she was still home.
'I thought you went out.' his eyes looked away as he adjusted his towel.
Almost chocking on her cigarette, Y/N exhaled the smoke before answering.
'W-Well, I... Yeah, I wanted to say goodbye.' the woman put out her cigarette and stood up, walking up to him with weak knees.
She warped her hands around his shoulders, not mining getting wet. He reluctantly warped his hands around her waist.
'Bye then. Be careful.' he whispered, still looking away.
'Wait for me.' her smile was probably the most content thing on the planet.
And then she went out. And the plan was about to be fulfilled.
Aizawa Shota liked organized things. He wanted everything to be in order. So he still went on with the plan about confessing. Even if it was pretty clear that she'd say yes. They both called their matchmakers, explaining last night, while walking around town. Aizawa was shopping various things, while Kayama was basically fainting on the other side of the line. Hizashi was still walking towards their meeting point, while Y/N was explaining the events, nervously smoking a cigarette in front of the mall. And the day went on, both of them feeling a certain heavy ball of excitement in their stomachs.
'Yes, I put them there. Yes, I bought scented candles. Yes, they are red. Kayama, she'll be home any minute, stop it.' Aizawa's voice reached Y/N's ears as she unlocked her door. And then it suddenly stopped.
