. . .

You wore them more with
her I knew and I was scared

I parked my car nearby the pub of my choice before getting out, making sure I put on my cap and face mask.

I entered the pub and just went straight to one of the unoccupied table. I don't look like a teen anyways so I don't need to show them my face nor my i.d. Although I could gladly show it to them while I was ordering. But they didn't asked me to.

Well, it's because I actually know the owner here and some staffs could recognize me too. I texted Jisoo unnie that I would be coming here and so they were probably given a heads-up by her. Sadly, she isn't in the Itaewon branch to join me in this lonely evening.

After I ordered, I sat there as I patiently (painfully) waiting for my order. Still can't move on at the fact that I got a mind block. Which is a human thing of course, but I rarely do so. Not to mention, before I started writing it I was very powered up and very inspired.

When I tried to write something, I wouldn't be pleased with it and just - erase it again. You probably thought I'd throw the paper away? No way, I don't waste paper. Save Mother Earth, fam.

To save me some time, I tried to think about the time we broke up and the emotions I felt while I was waiting.

The pain of the words that were filled disgust and resentment towards me. Even though I didn't know where and when it all went wrong.

The pain of him telling me I wasn't enough and that he no longer loves me.

The pain of watching that one person whom I love slowly walk away from me like he's just throwing the years we've known and been together into the trash.

After all this years, it still hit me hard. A tear escape from my eyes and I quickly wiped it away, looking around to make sure no one was watching me.

Then I next thought of the lyrics that I could write after having a mini flashback in my mind.

Still, nada.

I sighed heavily. I'm seriously screwed. I thought I could write it quickly and get it done fast so that I can concentrate on my concert again, but looks like that's not what is going to happen.

Thank you, brain. Insert sarcasm.

I continued waiting when I heard a loud thud of what seemed like a fist hitting the table. It made me immediately look to where the sound came from.

Two men were arguing at a table in my left side, which is three tables away. One man has his fists curled up in a ball and sitting on top of the table while looking angrily at the other.

On the other hand, the second man was sitting down and just stared up to the furious man. Because of that one loud sound they made, everyone's attention switched on to them.

"Don't you f*cking lie! You slept with my girlfriend, you son of a b*tch!" The guy said and proceeds to grab the other guy by the shirt near his neck and raised him up from his seat.

"I told you a billion of times that I. Did. Not. Slept. With. Yours. Or. Anyone's. Girlfriend." The other guy replied in a calm but stern voice and glared at guy who's holding his shirt.

They continued to argue whether this and that happened or did not happen. Some of the staff now even tried to butt in to the argument and stated that if they don't stop, they would have to call the police. But the two were like deaf or something.

The scene is starting to make me uncomfortable and more annoyed than I already am. I also don't want my friend to go through trouble if ever the fight escalated and end up having to go some damage. In which these guys may or may not pay for it.

So, I have to step in.

"Excuse me sir, this is getting out of hand. Can you please listen to the staff here who only wanted to work in peace." I said to the guy whom I have caught his attention. Because the moment I stepped in, he then let go of the other guy's shirt.

"Who do you think you are, missy?" He asked me and what he does next shocked me.

In one swift move, he takes my cap off revealing my face entirely for everyone to see.

I could see the shocked faces from the other customers as well as the two guys in front of me. Some of the customers even started to take pictures of me, which I am very much sure it will appear in the news later in the morning.

I sighed knowing that it's too late. So, I just gotta do what I was supposed to do and deal with the consequences later.

"I'm with this guy so back off." I said.

Without thinking, I quickly grab the other guy and pulled him out of there. Telling the staff that I'll be cancelling my order in the process.

"Yah! Wait! Miss! You can't take him away!"

I heard the guy yelled from behind us and I looked at the guy whom I pulled away from the pub.

"Run!" Is what he said to me.

And so we did.
