Inspiration: J.D. Salinger's Glass Family
Character: Bessie Glass
_____
Bessie insisted on taking them to the park. They didn't like the park. None of her children did.
She wanted things to be different with the last two. She wanted them to play, wanted them to be kids.
Her children were never like other kids. They didn't play like other kids. They had all learned a second language before other children had hardly mastered English.
Franny and Zooey sat away from the others on the playground. Bessie longed for them to run and jump, but they'd rather discuss their most recent lesson at school.
Dissecting it like future Mensa members.
