CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

Gabriella POV

Napangiti ako ng makita si haize na nasa tabi ko at tulog na tulog pa. I moved closer to him and gently put my hand on his cheek.

I really miss this person.

The person I first met and the person who made me feel those first things. Aside from Dave, all I knew Dave is the one but when I think about it, si ake talaga ang una kong inibig. But I was young back then. So I'm not sure.

I touched his nose and trace them with my pointing finger.

Napangiti ako.

Ake is Haize, Haize is ake.

I really can't believe it.

Nagulat akong mabilis na hinawakan ni Haize ang kamay kong nilalaruan ang ilong nya.

"You never listen, I told you to stop playing with my nose."

Napahagikhik ako. Same reaction like ake, talagang sya nga si ake. Hindi Niya gusto na pinaglalaruan ang ilong Niya. Because he has a sensitive smell.

Kahit inis ang mukha nya ay napangiti ako at tinitigan sya.

"What are you looking at?"

Umiling ako at napapangiti ng malawak.

"How are you, ake?"

Nakita ko syang nagulat sa tanong ko ngunit maya maya ay napangiti ng bahagya.

"Painful."

Napawi ang ngiti ko sa sinagot nya.

Mabilis ko syang nilapitan at niyakap sa ulo.

Kahit malalim ang boses ng pagkakasagot nya I felt sadness through that one word.

"It must be really painful." Hinaplos ko ang buhok nya. "Let me cure you, haize."

Let me stay, Haize. Let me stay to your side once again, because I don't want to lose you again.

"Cure me?"

Tila naguguluhan ito sa sinabi ko kaya kumalas ako ng yakap at umayos ng upo sa kama, I will cure him. Not physically but emotionally.

Tumango ako.

"Yes, I will cure you. It's painful right?" He nodded. "Then, I will stay by your side even it takes forever to cure you."
I smiled after that.

He must've been through a hell of a life. He won't mind me meddling in his life once again right?

"Gabriella, your presence is enough to make my day whole."

I saw him smiled. And whispered,

"I'm glad that I'm still that boy you want."

Hindi ko mapigilang pinagka titigan siya ng matiim sa mukha.

"Haize."

"I'm glad."

Hinahawakan ko ang dalawang palad Niya.

"Of course, Haize. You're someone who's important to me. Knowing you, alive? I'm so happy that it's you. And you never forget me."
