The Mall

That one place. The place all girls stereotypically 'love'. The mall is cool I guess..... Its just always so busy and you see those rich girls showing off all their daddy's money. It annoys me. Although Maddie and Lizzie really wanted me to go to and I also wanted some light highlights. So yay.

"Get your pretty little butt down here!" Called Lizzie from outside.

"Ok chill!" I yelled slipping on my shoes.

I decided on wearing sparkly black shorts and a blue denim shirt. It was really warm out today so yeah it worked.

I hopped in the car and we were on our way. I stared out the window and watched the clouds disappear behind me as we pulled into the mall parking lot.

"Ok so I don't feel like spending the whole day here alright?" I said getting out of the car.

"Don't worry I don't either." Said Lizzie.

"I'm so exited! I haven't had a girls day out in forever!" Said Maddie.

We spent what felt like hours just walking through the mall trying to find the specific hair style shop. I looked up and read the wonderful sign 'Curl for the World.'

"Hello. What are you ladies looking for today?" Asked the black haired counter lady and stylist I guess.

"Umm I was hoping to get blond highlights." I smiled.

"Right this way!" She said leading me to a cool chair you find at barber shops.

********

"Oh my god you look awesome!" Squealed Lizzie.

"Why thank you." I twirled around letting my new highlights flush around.

"Well Lizzie and I want to go in there." Maddie whispered pointing to the store I refuse to go in. The evil toxicated store in which you are suffocated!

Yep. You guessed it. Bed, Bath, and Body works.

"Go without me." I mumbled.

"You sure?" Asked Maddie.

"Yeah just meet me at 'Mario's' when your done."

"Awesome! Later Jess." Waved Lizzie scampering off with Maddie.

I was totally fine with being alone. I'm  not exactly helpless you know. Maybe I will get a snack. Ooh. Unhealthy junk food. My favorite. I walked to the vending machine and took out a dollar. I should watch my weight... nah, to hell with diets.

I watched as my chocolaty peanut butter crisp brownie started sliding from the machine. Then, the worst thing in life happened. It was stuck. You know when these damn machines get stuck, you never get your dollar back! Or your candy.....

Hmm....well nobody's looking. Maybe I can use the old fashion way. START KICKING AND SHAKING IT!!!!

I began rocking the machine while kicken near the bar.

"Hey hey hey hey hey!" Growled the security guard.

"What?" I snapped.

"You are not to tamper with this machine!" He growled.

"Ok. Very sorry sir..." I mumbled. Do you think I would get arrested if I kept doing it? Probably not. I hate being told what to do.

I scampered of to the arcade area. The mall was a pretty fun place if I do say so myself. I can embrace my girly self here. At times. I'm not a tom-boy, yet not a girly girl. I skipped over to the blaster master game.
