Incoming call from Ynex Adaer Aranda...
Muntik ko nang mabitawan ang cellphone ko dahil sa pagkagulat ng bigla itong tumunog.
I answered the call and all I can hear is his heavy breathing.
"Ynex?"
There's no responsed from him but I know he's there kasi rinig ko ang kanyang paghinga.
"Ynex? Why did you call?," I asked in a worried tone.
"Hmm," he said. Medyo matamlay ang boses niya. Kumunot ang noo ko.
"Kakagising mo lang? Bumangon ka na riyan para makakain ka na," I said.
"Hmm," that's all he said.
"Masama ang pakiramdam mo?" I asked in a soft voice.
"Hmm. Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko," finally, nagsalita na rin siya. I can hear that his voice is a bit raspy. I already knew that he catch a cold.
"Iyan na nga ba ang sinasabi ko sa'yo. Bumangon ka na riyan para makakain ka na at makainom ng gamot mo."
"Ayaw ko. Mas lalong sumasakit ang ulo kapag gumagalaw tapos ang bigat ng pakiramdam ko," pagtutol niya.
"Paano ka makakainom ng gamot kung hindi babangon diyan at kakain?" tanong ko sa kaniya.
"Sige na, bumangon ka na," I said at mas nilambingan pa ang tono ng pananalita.
I sighed. I didn't hear him say yes nor say no and all I can hear is his heavy breathing.
"Sige na, Ynex, gusto mo pa yata akong pumunta riyan," I chuckled.
"Hmm," I heard him hummed.
"Gusto mong alagaan pa kita?" I asked him amusedly.
"Hmm-mm," pagsang-ayon niya. My eyes widen in his answer.
"Gusto mong puntahan kita diyan?," I asked him gently.
"Pwede?" he said in a hoarse voice.
"Can you take care of me, nae agi?"
It's my first time hearing him calling me using that endearment. His voice looks so sexy while saying it because his voice is a little bit rough. I feel my heart thump so hard.
What are you doing to me, Ynex?
"D-do you want me to.. t-take care of you?"
Why the hell am I stammering? Composed yourself, Paisley!
"Hmm-mm, but baka mahawa ka? I don't want you to get sick as much as I want you to take care of me," he said in a concerned voice.
"Is your siblings are there? How about your Mom?" I asked ignoring what he said earlier.
"They're here, I guess because I heard Mom knocking in my door earlier, checking me if I'm already awake."
"I want to go there but I don't know where is your house located."
"Really?" rinig ko sa boses niya na medyo sumigla siya dahil sa naging sagot ko.
"Hmm-mm," I answered while biting my index finger. I feel my face heated because I was so shy about my answer.
"I will let our driver fetch you in your house, is that alright?" he replied.
"Yes, I'll be there in ten."
"Hmm-mm, I'll send our driver there. Take care, I'll wait for you here. I will just inform our driver and Mom that you'll be here."
"Okay. I'll hang up now." I said.
"Hmm."
Binaba ko na ang tawag at nagpaalam kay Mama na aalis ako. Ang mga pinsan ko naman ay nag usisa kung saan daw ako pupunta. Ang sabi ko lang ay may kailangan akong asikasuhin para sa school. Hindi ko alam kung naniwala ang mga lalaki pero kita ko sa mga mata ng mga babae na may pagdududa sila pero hindi na lang nila isinatinig.
Umakyat na ako ng kwarto ko upang magbihis at magpalit ng damit. I chose to wear my oversized shirt and I partnered it with my leggings.
Maya maya lang ay nandiyan na ang driver nina Ynex. Tinawag na ako ni Mama at sinabing nandiyan na raw ang sundo ko. Kinuha ko ang aking sling bag kung saan nakalagay ang aking cellphone at wallet.
Ang sabi ko kay Mama ay driver nina Ynex 'yun dahil kilala na naman ni Mama si Ynex although ang sabi ko ay may gagawin kami for the pageant at kasama si Ynex sa paggawa at pinasundo na ako rito para hindi na ako magcommute or magdala ng sasakyan.
Napahigpit na lang ang kapit ko sa sling bag na dala ko dahil sa aking pagsisinungaling. I sighed. My cousins decided to just stroll outside since I'm going somewhere and we'll just meet again the next day because we will have our dinner tomorrow in our Grandparents house.
Paglabas ko ng bahay ay nakaabang na ang sasakyan nina Ynex. The driver went out from the driver seat. He greeted me and he opened the back door for me.
"Thank you," I said and smiled to him.
After he closed the door, he immediately went back to the driver seat.
"Okay na po ba, Ma'am?" he asked politely.
I just nod and smiled again to him. He also smiled back and started the engine and maneuvered the car.
