16- deja vu

Me and Calum had been getting ready for the past 45 minutes for dinner with Michael and his girlfriend. I was really anxious to meet her and make sure she was right for my mikey, my best friend. I wouldn't want anyone to hurt him.

I was putting my makeup on while looking in the mirror while Calum was trying to pick out something to wear. I had on a red dress that went down to mid thigh. It was a flowy dress and tightened at the waist, fitting my curves perfectly. I curled my hair into tight rings which looked really good on my light blonde hair. As I was putting on foundation, Calum came over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He looked at me in the mirror.

"Why do you put makeup on babe? I think you're even more beautiful without it." He kissed my hip on top of the fabric of my dress and chills ran through my body.

I scoffed and peeled him off me.

"That's really nice babe but I need to wear makeup." I said while pulling out some mascara. "it hides my flaws." I added. When I was finished applying the mascara I grabbed my eyeliner and started putting some on.

"you don't have any flaws." he said while kissing my cheek.

"you're a doll, you are flawless. But I just can't wait for love to destroy us. I just can't wait for love. the only flaw, you are flawless." Calum sang the song 'Flawless' by the neighbourhood, as he walked around the bedroom, still searching for something to wear in the piles of clothes that were scattered on the floor.

My heart rate increased as he sang verse after verse, making eye contact with me in the mirror once in a while. When he ended the song I was just finishing up my makeup. I walked over to him and leaned on my tip-toes to kiss him.

He instantly responded and his lips moved in sync with mine. His hand caressed my jaw and mine wrapped around his waist.

He pulled back.

"Come on babe we should finish getting ready or we'll be late." he said while pecking my lips quickly and running to the closet to find shoes.

He finally found an outfit which was black jeans (without the rip to make it classier, as he assured me) and a plain red t shirt with his black converse of course. We kind of matched which thought was cute.

I got a text from Michael saying the name of the restaurant, the address, and the time we should be there. It was a restaurant called Arturo's which was pretty fancy and we were meeting them there at 7. It was 6:30 so I told Calum we should get going.

We took a cab to Arturo's and cuddled on the way there, kissing occasionally. when we got there, Calum opened my door for me like the gentleman he is. We walked in to the restaurant and a very tall, skinny man with a fancy suit on greeted us.

"good evening, my name is Ian. May I have your names so I can lead you to your table?" he said politely.

"Calum and Lily." Calum told Ian.

"Alright, nice to meet you Calum and Lily." he smiled at us. We smiled back. "Follow me to your table."

We walked behind him and Calum grabbed my hand as we approached the table. I saw a familiar red head sitting at a table with a brunette girl, a couple feet from us.

"Have a nice evening." Ian gave us a small smile and we thanked him.

As we walked closer to the table, my smile faded when I saw the girl sitting next to Michael. I could feel Calum's grip on my hand become stronger and tighter. I knew that he was mad and was trying not to blow up.

Right there in front of us, sitting next to my best friend, was Anna. The slut ass bitch who made out with my boyfriend. It's like déjà vu.

That's not even the worst part. I remembered that Michael said he'd been dating her for a few weeks. Which means she cheated on Michael with Calum. Poor Mikey. He doesn't even know.

I could tell this was not going to be an enjoyable night.

btw basically what is happening is Calum cheated on Lily with Anna. And Anna cheated on Michael with Calum. Lily and Calum already fixed things though, so what will happen when Michael finds out about all of this? wait for the next update to find out 😏 - Sadie
