I walked out of Arturo's while holding hands with two boys. The love of my life and my best friend. We stepped out the door and I took a deep breath as I inhaled the fresh, cold, November air.

Calum let go of my hand as he ran in front of me and Michael while we stared at him wildly. He started jumping around and clapping his hands.

"I have a great idea!" Calum yelled with enthusiasm. I was questioning if this was actually going to be a good idea or one of his stupid plans.

"What is it?" I asked curiously, tightening my grip on Michael's hand as he looked down, clearly upset about Anna.

"Let's go drink and get high." Calum suggested. Immediately, Michael's face lit up and he smiled at Calum, then at me as if asking for permission.

I'd never gotten high before, but I have drank, so it can't be much different, right?

I shrugged. "Why not?"

Calum and Michael high fived and then pulled me into a hug.

"Alright, alright." I lightly pushed them off me. "Are we just gonna stand here or are we gonna go get some drugs and drinks?" I smirked.

They giggled happily the whole walk home as I strolled behind them in silence. They're like 8 year olds and I feel like the goddamn mom. It's funny sometimes.

When we got back to the hotel we ran into the elevator.

"One, Two, Three, Jump!" Calum yelled as we all jumped in the elevator on command. The elevator shook and almost stopped.

Yes we were playing that stupid, 13 year old game where you all jump at the same time in the elevator for no reason other than to fuck it up.

I had to admit I'm pretty excited for the night ahead of us. We got to mine and Calum's hotel room and I shut the door behind us.

"Okay let's make some calls, invite some friends over, call a dealer, and let's get turnt!" Michael yelled, using his white boy slang.

Calum laughed at Michael and kissed me. I heard Michael open and close the door to the balcony, assuming he went out there to make some phone calls for the crazy night ahead of us.

"Babe." Calum said. "I know you've never smoked before, and if you don't feel comfortable doing this you don't have to and we can tell Mike to just go to sleep." he said softly.

"Calum, I'm 18. Im not a kid anymore. I want to do this. As long as you're here." I whispered the last part.

"I'll always be here." He said and leaned in to assure that he will in fact, always be here for me.

Michael ran inside from the balcony.

"Everything is set up!" he smirked. "Let's forget about the pain with toxins and alcohol."
