The day after our little get together, I was feeling pretty sick. Calum was sitting next to me on the couch with his arm around me while we watched TV. Everyone left a little while ago, early that morning.

Calum leaned down a little to kiss my temple every once in a while. I was focused hard on the show we were watching, I think it was "Love it or List it". People would get their crappy old houses renovated and then given the option to buy a new home. They can pick either their new renovated, modern home or a completely new house.

I liked this show because they sold houses all over the US, which meant many pretty sceneries and new views. In this episode, a young couple was the stars, and they lived in Los Angeles, California. Their renovated house was decent but the other new option was gorgeous with a fantastic view of the ocean and a perfect location.

'That would be so cool to live there'. I thought to myself. I was getting pretty bored of NYC which was pretty surprising, but oddly true. We had the same daily routine which was get up, eat, go for a walk, eat, hang out, eat, sleep, repeat. If it wasn't any more obvious, the only thing still keeping me here was the food.

What! New York City has quality pizza.

I got distracted from the show and my thoughts by Calum kissing my neck and caressing my cheek.

"Cal." I whispered. In that moment, a brilliant idea sprung to my mind.

"Mhhm." he mumbled against my neck.

"If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?" I said softly.

"Anywhere, as long as you're there with me." He pulled back and gave me a questioning look.

"Perfect." I smirked. He looked at me with a playful, curious glint in his eyes. He knew I was up to something.

"What do you think about LA?" I grinned.

"I think LA sounds grand." He smiled, and I knew he was now on the same track as me.

"What do you say?" I said with enthusiasm. "Ready to leave NYC and go on new adventures across the country?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

We reached the lobby, on a mission to find Ashton. A while back, he told us he knew someone who could give us a discount plane ride if we needed to get somewhere.

I spotted him at the front desk talking with his cousin. I dragged Calum over to Ashton to ask about a flight to LA.

"Hey Ash." I tapped his shoulder and he turned around swiftly.

"Hey Lily. Hey Calum." he greeted both of us, smiling.

"Sup Ash. We were actually wondering if you could get us a flight to LA." Calum said to Ashton.

"LA! wow that's exciting! Of course, I'll get you tickets just let me call Ed." He smiled happily, took out his phone and dialed a number.

I assumed Ed was his friend with the airline connections. He talked rather quickly on the phone them turned back to us.

"Flights are booked. First class. You leave tomorrow. Hope that's alright, I wasn't sure when you guys wanted to go." He smiled.

I was overwhelmed with the kindness Ashton had always given us. In fact, all of our friends here were always so respectful and caring. We might not have made it here in New York if it wasn't for them. I love them all and I'm gonna miss them tremendously.

"Thanks so much Ashton, you've been so good to us. You're a great friend. We really appreciate everything." I hugged him tightly, feeling emotional. He rapped his arms around my waist, staying in the 'safe zone' since Calum was standing right next to us.
