Obsessive ringing noises echo eerily beneath the heavy pounding heard within and throughout, making all other sounds and surroundings seem meaningless―like a trap.
The body owned by the individual experiencing these compulsions remains icy cold in its dangerous disconnect from reality, as well as due to the sustainable energy source inside of her.
The wheezing, distorted breaths being exhaled from the eleven-year-old enhanced child are primarily one of the only things she can pick up in listening to, for the inordinate amount of internal pressure building is plainly too much to bear... only making the surge in fear even worse. Consuming, impossible to tame.
Alone.
Danielle Rockland-Rogers was always told that she'd be alone, and if reassured otherwise―those words never stood taller than the great fear of abandonment still carried in the heart of the brunette... even if she doesn't even realize it yet.
But she was caged, not in a prison of where the FORCE Headquarters corruptly held her captive... but in an even tighter locked jail cell―the one in her mind. The one that holds onto every bit of worry, doubt, fear, like a soaked sponge.
For that was the child's nature, the way she was undeniably altered from growing up in the predicaments she did... does, as the uncommon threats that once infected her nightmares and mind-controlling visions―STILL LINGER.
They're still out there, and while they roam behind the scenes and form secondary plans of production, attack... there is still a central threat. Conflict from within, and metaphorically one would say between Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The Avengers.
But it wasn't just that. The youngest being among them, the sole Avenger-in-training―with the exception of another minor-aged boy... She had her own problems.
