WITH the cold breeze touching their skin, Dusk and Sheen are sitting on the shore, the same spot where they first met each other. His hand is hugging her waist while her head is resting on his shoulder.

"Do you remember this spot, My life?" tanong niya sa dalaga

"Mmm, dito kita unang nakita?" Maybe Sheen cannot remember it like he can because of her vision. But honestly, that memory is still vivid in his mind as if it was intentionally recorded for him to be able to play it again and again.

"Yep. I didn't know that I will meet here the woman that I want to bet my life with. And guess what? I didn't regret any bit of it. You came to me like a warm hug and all of a sudden, I was freed from the cold. I felt warmth in your touch, and your smile appealed to me like a blanket, tending to cover my frigid soul. And then the next thing I knew, I am already deeply in love with you, My life" Sheen might have not also given her sweet confession as an equivalent reply to him but she moves her hands to hug him tight, and that became everything.

"By the way, I've been curious about this My Life. Back on that day here when we first met, why did I feel like you're not that scared or aloof to me given that you tend to be that way along with everyone strange to you?" He asked. Well, he's been thinking about this since then but it is not that he thinks too highly of himself. It's just that, he feels like he is somewhat an exception in a way.

"Sa totoo lang natakot din ako noong una kasi 'yun 'yung unang beses kong makatakas. Hindi rin kita masyadong nakikita noon at ikaw ang unang taong nakasalamuha ko but I really felt na I will be safe with you. Naisip ko nga na baka ikaw na 'yung taong hinihintay ko eh. Yung taong sasagip sa akin and who will accept me regardless of my flaws. And now I can say na I was right back then" she said as she reminisce that moment.

Well, the same goes for him. She was just a strange woman to him back then who was constantly bugging his mind with her undeniable beauty. But now, she became the woman who is closest to his heart.

"Sheen..."

"Hmm?"

"I love you" he sincerely said as he places a meaningful kiss on her forehead

"Bakit mo ako mahal Dusk?"

"Kailangan ba may rason ako kung bakit kita mahal?" he said and then he moves his body to face her. "I don't love you for a lot of reasons Sheen. I love you because I do and that's highly irrevocable"

Sheen leaves his gaze as she looks at the sea. "Hindi ka ba nagsisisi na ako ang mahal mo? Kasi ganito lang ako Dusk. Sa dilim lang kita nakikita at natatakot ako na baka isang araw mapagtanto mo na hindi ko pala deserve 'yang pagmamahal mo." She might be looking away but a lot of doubts and sadness are evident on her tone so Dusk holds her face to make her look at him again.

"Why do you think that I've gone this far and that I would want to walk with you until the end if you don't deserve it? There's no life without you Sheen. You're my life and I will never intend to hate it. Leaving you is a suicide and you leaving me is murder. So don't ever think of committing that crime, okay? Let's please hold unto each other's hand no matter what. And if you feel like it's getting hard to hold even further, just tell me and I will hold yours tighter. Can we do that My life?" Sheen showed her brightest smile again as she nods in accordance with what he said.
