Chapter 51

DUSK is sitting beside the bed while holding Sheen's hand. Mula sa biyahe nila patungo rito sa Luxembourg at magpahanggang ngayon na nasa palasyo na sila ay hindi pa rin nagigising ang dalaga. Dito na siya natutulog at kumakain at hindi talaga siya aalis sa tabi nito hangga't hindi niya nasisigurong mabuti na ang kalagayan ni Sheen.

Sa katunayan ay katatapos lang ng check-up ni Sheen with the Royal family's doctor and he said that she will be fine. There are no major injuries nor complications caused to her but she needs complete rest for a faster recovery.

Dusk is beyond thankful knowing that but he is still not okay just by the thought of how much she endured this suffering. Seeing her swollen wrists and feet is enough to make him feel like hell. If only pain is transferable, he is all willing to be the receiver and suffer the pain instead.

Habang tahimik niyang pinagmamasdan ang dalaga ay biglang tumawag ang kapatid niya. May meeting kasi sila ngayon sa CDE pero hindi siya pumasok dahil hindi niya maiwan si Sheen.

"Hello Kuya, katatapos lang ng meeting so I just want to inform you that Minister Duschène is now fired from his rank together with all of his underlings and he's gonna be sentenced to life imprisonment. Faye and Lucious Felomina were dead on the scene and the victims are now in the custody of Arden's task force. But there's really this someone who's giving me a headache right now."

"What? Who?"

"The girl that I rescued in one of the three rooms is looking for Sheen and she's claiming that she's Mí Angel's sister. She even sneaked on the platoon's plane yesterday so she's here in Luxembourg now."

"Did you check her identity?"

"Yun na nga Kuya eh. This one is also an alien. She's not registered to any databases but she knows her name and everything. We are about to conduct a DNA test from what we have obtained from the Felominas' dead bodies to confirm everything. Anyway, how's Mí Angel Kuya?"

Sasagutin na dapat ni Dusk ang kapatid niya, but then he felt that Sheen is moving her hand.

"She's fine. Gonna call you later. I think she'll wake up now," sabi ni Dusk at ibinaba na ang tawag.

Eventually, unti-unti nitong iminulat ang mga mata nito. Dahan-dahang bumangon si Sheen kaya naman inalalayan niya ito and she seems familiarizing where she is at the moment. Seeing her conscious now, parang nabunutan ng nakabaon na espada sa kanyang puso si Dusk.

"Thank God My Life you're awake now. Are you okay? May masakit ba sayo, My Life?" He asked, still trembling out of joy

Umiling si Sheen at hindi niya na napigilan ang sarili niya na yakapin nang mahigpit ang dalaga.

"I'm damn worried Sheen. Hindi ko talaga kakayanin kung mawawala ka sa akin and I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being late My Life," Dusk said as he cannot stop his tears from falling now.

He breaks the tight embrace and looks at her. "Just tell me if something hurts, okay? I'll hire the best doctors for you."

Nakatuon ang tingin ni Dusk sa dalaga but she seems puzzled for some unknown reason. Sheen then, cups his face and wipes his tears. "W-why are you like this again, K-Kuya?"

Kuya?

"You don't know yet?" kumunot ang noo ng dalaga.

Hinawakan ni Dusk ang mga kamay nito bago niya sabihin ang katotohanan.

"We're not siblings My Life. Faye and Lucious Felomina are your parents and the DNA result was manipulated."

"R-really?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Sheen ngunit kita rin sa mukha nito ang bahid ng sayang nararamdaman niya.
