NAGISING si Sheen sa isang madilim na kwarto at pagkamulat na pagkamulat pa lang ng mga mata niya'y umagos muli ang alaala ng mapait na nangyari kahapon. Her heart is still in excruciating pain as she remembers vividly how Zion suffered in her own arms and worse, she was dragged out of the scene before she could even hug Zion for the last time.

Agony and affliction besieged her for losing one of her dearest person. All this time, Zion did everything for her. Even with his last breath, he cared for nothing but her alone. Wala man lang nagawa si Sheen para sa kanya kaya naman hindi niya mapigilang sisihin ang kanyang sarili dahil hindi naman mangyayari ang lahat ng ito kung hindi dahil sa magulo niyang buhay.

Kahit na nangangalay na siya sa pagkakatayo habang nakagapos ang mga kamay at paa niya ay hindi niya magawang isipin ito dahil binabalot siya ng lubos na pighati at pangungulila.

I don't know if I can forgive myself for this and you have all the right to resent me, Zion. I really hope that you can live at peace now wherever you are. No more pain. No more worries because that's what you really deserve.

Tahimik na umiyak si Sheen habang ginugunita niya ang lahat ng mga masasaya nilang alaala. Zion really became her serotonin booster during her darkest times and she will really miss to smile and laugh with him.

With her mourning, the door suddenly opened and a beam of light strikes the room. From it, a sophisticated woman barged in with an apparent disgust written all over her face.

"How are you, my daughter? Buti buhay ka pa," her mother nonchalantly said. "Kung bakit ba naman kasi tatanga-tanga kayong tumakas 'no. Well, it's your loss anyway kaya magdusa ka."

Sheen looks at her mother with resentment on her eyes. "Hindi ka man lang ba nagsisisi sa mga ginagawa mo? Wala ka man lang bang nararamdaman na kahit ni katiting lang na awa para sa amin na kahit ako na sarili mong anak ay nagagawa mong pahirapan nang ganito?" Magkahalong galit at sakit ang nararamdaman ni Sheen sa mga bawat salitang binitawan niya.

"Why would I? For your information, I'm doing all of these to have everything and that excludes you." she rudely said which clenched Sheen's heart even more.

"Then why did you even give birth to me if you'll just gonna treat me like this?"

Malakas na tumawa ang ina niya. "Because I needed to. And my daughter, I want you to know that I only allowed you to exist so that I can gain money from you. Kaya wag ka nang mamalimos sa akin ng awa o kaya ng pagmamahal dahil wala kang mapapala sa akin. I'm a business woman. I don't do the shits of being a mother. I just negotiate. Hindi ka naman siguro bobo para intindihin 'yan."

Halo-halong sakit ang nararamdaman ni Sheen ngayon. She's grieving her loss and now the pain skyrocketed as she was briefed by her sole purpose of living. What's worse than knowing that you live just to be sold? It's definitely the harshest way to tell that she's unwanted ever since she existed.

Ilang saglit pa ay biglang bumalahaw ang sunod-sunod na putok ng mga baril. Sheen's nervousness piled up by just hearing those because the sound of it seemed to have caused her a trauma after what happened to her and Zion.

"Mukhang mahalaga yata ang isang basurang katulad mo sa kanila. I didn't expect that they would come as early as this just for you. What a fool they are indeed," sabi ng nanay niyang wala man lang bakas ng pangamba kahit na papalakas na nang papalakas ang mga pagputok na naririnig nila.

Does she mean.... No! Hindi ko na talaga kayang mabuhay pa kung may masamang mangyayari rin kay Dusk!

"Please... w-wag mo na silang idamay. Ako na lang ang pahirapan mo please." She pleaded but her mother just gave her a disagreeing look.
