KARARATING lang ni Ria sa kanyang Condominium galing sa Monaco. It has been a tiring trip pero hindi muna siya dumeretsyo kaagad sa penthouse ni Dusk dahil may kailangan muna siyang gawin.

Her dad wanted her home even just for a day because her Aunt from Belgium visited. Eventually, they enjoyed catching up with each other so her father convinced her if she could spare time and stay for days. Actually, it took her for a while to be at home again and she has to admit that she missed being there. With that, she decided to stay for two more days even if she promised Dusk that she would come back sooner. Nevertheless, Dusk gave her time to be with her family given that he is also busy with the Military Division.

But something feels odd today. She did not receive any message from her fiancé which is bizarre and it never happened before. Dusk is indeed tight-lipped most of the time but he never failed to send Ria a message. Hindi alam ni Ria kung sinasadya ba ito ni Dusk o talagang nakalimutan lang nito. But she thinks that neither of the two is possible. Wala siyang maisip na kung anumang rason kung bakit ito gagawin ni Dusk. And him being forgetful? That’s impossible.

To subside her thoughts, Ria brings out her phone from her shoulder bag and was about to call Dusk, when she heard the doorbell ringing.

It is just natural for her to assume that this might be her Fiancé. She has this gut feeling that Dusk might be the person behind that door who definitely misses her so bad. After all, she’s not expecting any deliveries, friends or home services that might come today.

Ria immediately left the couch and runs towards the door. She anticipates as she opens it and if her gut feeling is correct, then she would be happily welcoming Dusk with a tight hug.

But in contrast of what she assumed, it’s not Dusk. It is the person she did not know she’s actually longing to see.

"Freyr"

PAGKATAPOS na siguraduhing ayos na ang lahat, Dusk decided to go and fetch Ria. His fiancée has probably arrived already and she might be in their penthouse right now. He did not send any message to Ria today on purpose because he wants to surprise her. Even if it bothers him to not contact her, he has to control himself or else the astonishment would fall off.

Dusk steps on the gas to accelerate his car. Prolonging this torture will not do him any good because it’s just like asking him to take his own life. He did not see her for days and not texting her is committing suicide. So he has to see her now or he’ll really lose his mind.

Nakarating na si Dusk sa penthouse niya pero wala roon si Ria. She should have been here by now considering the time of her arrival. But she is nowhere to be found. Or maybe she’s in her condo? Dusk thought of this possibility.

Besides, Ria cannot go anywhere other than his penthouse or her place because she has no friends here except for Miguel and the rest of his friends.

This time, he really felt the need to contact her just to know where she is, but without a lot of thinking, he went back to his car and decided to head towards her condominium to check it out.

Dusk hurried as he arrives at the parking area. His face may be showing no emotion at all but he is really excited inside. His heart is pounding fast, yearning for her one and only woman.

Pumasok siya sa elevator at hindi na makapaghintay na ihatid siya nito sa floor ng kasintahan. When the elevator reached his target floor, he immediately walks towards his fiancée’s place.

Nasa harap na siya ng pintuan. He wants to surprise her so he did not t mind ringing the doorbell. Alam naman niya ang passcode ng condo nito kaya ini-enter niya na lang ang mga numero at maingat na pumasok sa loob.
