I needed to have a chat with Minato about this restriction seal.

See, the seal was designed to bring my chakra levels down to chunin levels, but I wasn't informed on how exactly it does that.

I had noticed more than just my chakra levels being reduced. I had noticed that my stamina was reduced, my sensory abilities were nearly nonexistent, my chakra signature was altered, my resistance to poisons, genjutsu, and killing intent... was gone.

Which was why I was frozen stiff at the measly amount of killing intent Zabuza was giving off.

I wanted to channel chakra to my wrist to take off the damn restriction seal but I couldn't move a muscle. I was like a new born in the face of this jonins pitiful attempt at scaring us.

Naruto wasn't scared. He faced my killing intent on a daily basis and knew for a fact that this man was nothing in comparison. Sasuke was mildly affected, Sakura was still able to move her head around to keep up awareness while I was stuck behind Tazuna like a lamb.

I took a deep breath and focused everything I could into bringing my chakra to my wrist to unseal the damn restrictions. Sure I found the experience interesting to say the least, but I was not happy that it was at the expense of my personal safety. If I died here I had no doubt that the shinigami would find me before I could make it back to my soul seal in Konoha.

I'd be erased.

This had to be another one of Minato's pranks.

"Olivia-chan?" Naruto blinked worriedly as he glanced back at me. I met his gaze with my neutral one and frowned slightly as my focus was lost. Naruto flickered to my side and took my hand in his and smiled reassuringly at me.

"You don't need to be scared of something like this, I'll protect you no matter what!" Naruto promised with a wide grin. "I've faced worse than this and I promise that there's no way I'd let that wannabe cow get his greasy little hooves on you."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Zabuza growled as he suddenly appeared in front of us.

At a speed faster than my eyes could follow, the man sliced his sword down on us. My breath stuttered to a halt as Naruto pulled out his kunai and stopped the sword like nothing.

Zabuza then turned into a puddle of water as Naruto shoved a rasengan into his gut. "See? This guy isn't even a threat." Naruto said proudly.

I blinked as the killing intent ceased then grunted in disgust at the seal on my wrist before pulling the damn thing off. I quickly pulled back my chakra before anyone could sense it and breathed in a sigh of relief at the feeling of having all my power at my fingertips.

"I suppose I need to thank you for saving my life." I hissed out as I took a look at the deactivated seal on my wrist.

I couldn't really study the fuinjutsu in full right now since it was reduced into the shape of a tiny black heart. I'd have to expand it later and see exactly how it was made later when we get into the village.

"You can count on me." Naruto assured before he looked back at the fight between Obito and Zabuza.

I ignored the fight, considering Obito was beating the man within an inch of his life. I didn't see how I was even needed here on this mission.

What was I supposed to do? Just keep tabs on Naruto and tell Minato everything when I came back? I didn't see the point.

I could have revived sixty Uchiha in the last three days instead of wasting my time walking to the land of waves. I could have been practicing my music better yet. I was getting pretty decent in the songs I had remembered, and even went farther than that and created my own music.
