Nagato looked like an old decrepit man, with barely any muscle or fat to his boney frame, and sunken in cheeks and bags under his eyes that looked like someone had punched him in the face repeatedly. His red hair was flat on his head with grease, and the clothes on his frame hung loosely around him.

He looked worse off than I'd ever seen him. He also looked like he wasn't going to be alive for much longer.

He actually reminded me of those homeless people on the streets from my past life that the privileged kids liked to spit on and kick for fun.

"You need healing. We cannot travel with you stuck to that chair with those wounds on your back." I demanded with the glare of a disappointed medic nin. "Don't think I'll just let you be as you are, Nagato, you need me more than I need you at this point."

If the man refused my help then it was more than likely that I'd just head back and leave the man to his fate. I still had Naruto to fall back on anyway.

Nagato slowly opened his eyes, the rinnegan looking creepily redundant in the body of a dying man. He only nodded once, without moving a single muscle in the rest of his body.

I could tell the pain he was in must have been excruciating. Especially if he didn't dare move as I walked across the room to where he sat in a poorly made wheel chair.

"Oh look at you.." I murmured with disapproval as I ran a glowing green hand over his body thoroughly. "You've gouged holes into your chakra coils.." I hissed as I saw the extend of the wounds on his body.

"This will take a lot of time and chakra," I scowled. "I certainly hope you don't do something as reckless as penetrating yourself with metal rods again after this."

Konan stood a few feet away, ready to attack if I made even one wrong move. Not that it was needed. It was obvious the two of them trusted me enough if they let me get this close to 'Pains' main body.

I soothed his pain first by temporarily disabling his pain receptors and then begun by healing the wounds. I took my time, since such chakra manipulation took all of my concentration.

Once the wounds were healed I strengthened and encouraged the muscles in his body to grow so he could move around comfortably, and then I proceeded to heal his mess of a chakra system.

It took hours. Long hours of straight mental concentration and healing. It was tediously boring but absolutely necessary.

When that was done I moved to his eyes and healed the chakra receptors behind them, so he could control his rinnegan as if he were actually born with them. With that it should take a lot less chakra to control them.

I then healed the eyes itself, since they were aged to the point of rotting out of his very eye sockets. Which was absolutely unsanitary and nasty as fuck. Who's eyes where these anyway? They obviously didn't belong to Nagato.

Anyway, once everything was done, the man looked far healthier than before. He now had muscles on his thin frame, fresh skin, and a younger looking face. I'd even gone so far to heal his hair follicles since he'd seemed to have neglected them to the point where his hair wasn't even growing anymore.

Dare I say he even looked handsome. For an Uzumaki that is. Actually..he kinda looked a little like that kid..Kishiko I think his name was. But his eye shape and nose were all Nagisa.

...And I expended far more chakra than I meant to. I was now at a quarter of my original reserves. Not that I'd even need that much to get rid of them if they decided to fight me now.
