As Skittle lay in bed that night, she felt a lot of mixed emotions. She was really happy to have left the school, because that school was what caused her so much pain and heartbreak over the last few years. But she was also a bit sad. She didn't know why, but she sort of missed Casper. She had no idea why, when he was the one who bullied her.
She turned over in her bed and flopped onto the pillow. Why did her life have to be so hard? She didn't understand anything or anyone anymore, not now nearly everyone in her life had left her.
Skittle sighed, and lay there in the dark thinking about life.
And then she remembered the most important thing about leaving primary school.
She would be starting high school soon.
