I woke up with the first ring of my alarm. I looked over to my right, and saw Jason sleeping, peacefully. I caressed his face and a smile formed on my face. For somewhat reason I suddenly started to chuckle.
Then suddenly a smirk formed on Jason's face. Oh Gods, he is awake. I realized too late, because he took my hand and pulled me to him. He then opened his eyes.
"Do you like me? Too bad. You already have a-" He suddenly stopped himself. I raised my eyebrow. "Have what?" I asked.
"Nothing." He said. "Hey, do you like me?" He asked and I was caught off guard. "What? Obviously, no." I said. "Yeah? Then why did you caress my face, then smile and then chuckle?" He asked.
"Well, you were so adorable when you were sleeping." I said. He then gave me a weird look. "What? That is the truth." I said.
"You are lying." He said.
"I am not."
"You are."
"I am not."
"You are."
"Whatever. Get ready for your run." I said at last, and stood up from my bed.
"Let me use the bathroom first. I have to go for jogging." He said, while getting off the bed. I nodded. He got in the toilet, and within 5 minutes he finished his freshening up.
"Good bye. See you after jogging." He said and got out of our room. I got in the bathroom. I guess I took almost 15 minutes to get out from there. Oh, come on, I am a lady.
I got out of the toilet, and got down to make coffee. Well literally, the coffee machine made coffee for us. And I made vegetable sandwich for both of us, and sat down with my latte and kept his espresso on the table.
And then I took my Da Vinci Code and started reading it. My coffee was ready on the table, and I was waiting to drink it, while I reach the end of that certain chapter.
And when I finished, I reached out for my coffee, and to my surprise, I didn't find it there. I closed my book and looked on the table, and my latte was missing, and his espresso, was starting to cool down.
And then only did I notice Jason standing near the table, drinking my coffee.
"Jason that is my coffee. Yours is there on the table." I said and pointed to his espresso. "Oh, I didn't see it." Jason said.
Then I took my coffee from his hand. "What the-"
"Do you like espresso? Or are you telling it to trouble me?" I asked.
"What do you mean-" "I want the truth. Yesterday you took the latte I made for you first and drank it. Today, you took my latte and drank it. Jason, don't take me for stupid." I said.
He was quite for a while. "Whatever. I will just make latte for you from now own." I sighed.
"Alright. I will freshen up and come." Saying that he went upstairs. I followed behind him. "Why are you following me?" He asked. "It's not like I want to follow you. I just want to go upstairs, and put on my uniform." I said. "Oh."
Seriously? Who would want to follow you? I asked myself.
He got in the washroom and I changed my dress and put on my uniform. I put my hair onto a ponytail and put baby powder on my face. This will be enough.
"You ready?" He asked. "Yeah, I am." I said. "Then follow me." He ordered and I did.
Once we reached the office, he gave me some files to sort out. I was much less. Maybe it was because of the files he gave me yesterday or maybe because it is half day or maybe, it is really less today.
"And one more thing." He said before I got to my room. "What is it?" I asked. "Don't run away from during lunch break." He said. "Runaway? Lunch break?" I asked.
"You are talking like you don't know about those." He said. "I really didn't know there was a lunch break. And I didn't runaway either. I was present here, all along." I said.
"YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT THERE WAS A LUNCH BREAK?" He shouted out. "Jason low your voice. People might be standing outside." I said.
"Does that mean you didn't eat lunch yesterday?" He asked yesterday. "Obviously." I said like it is any other normal thing.
"At least when you came to my room, and when you didn't see me, it might have struck somewhere around your brain, that it was lunch then." He said.
"Why should I come to your room? I mean you gave me, 5 giant files, and your tone somehow, was like an imitation of a father telling to his child that, don't get out of your room, without doing your homework." I shot back.
"Then, did you eat anything yesterday?" He asked. "Yeah, I ate a sandwich after work, and ate dinner with you." I said.
"Oh God, eat something. I mean you are in my care. What will people talk about me, if they see my Personal Secretary is as thin as a drumstick. They will think that I am over-working you." He said. "Well, aren't you?" I asked back.
He was quite for a moment and told,
"Whatever."
"Okay, when am I supposed to understand that, it is lunch right now?" I asked. "'You will hear two bells. One at the starting and the other at the ending." He said.
"Oh, I guess I did hear it, but didn't pay attention to it." I said and he rolled my eyes. "My God, I will call you, when the first bell rings. Who knows, you might even ignore it today." He said.
"Alright. Then I will go start my work." I said, bowed a little and got back to my work.
I sighed when I got inside. Then I took the files and started sorting it out.
