I got inside my dorm and fell onto the sofa. "What happened to My Dia?" Jason asked and offered me a glass os water. I accepted it. "Oh, it's just that-" Then only I realized it.
"MY DIA?! YOUR DIA?!" I screamed. "Stop screaming! Remember, we are having neighbours."Jason said and frowned to myself.
"Come on. Don't be like that. Now, calm yourself and tell me the problem, clearly." Jason said and I nodded.
"Everything is pointing against Sir Peterwood." I said. "Anything new?" Jason asked and I nodded.
"Tell me." He said.
"I went to Sir Peterwood to ask where he went during the robbery at Ruin X, and he was like, somewhere private." I said.
"That makes him the culprit, doesn't it? But there is something fishy." He said. "Exactly. If, he was the culprit he wouldn't specify it. He could have just told that he went home." I said.
"I know. I thought about it. Its almost like Sir Peterwood is giving us the clues that he is the culprit himself." Jason said.
"Do you think that it is because he feels loyal to you after all, but doesn't want the black star to know?" I asked.
"That can be a perspective too. But for the time being, we will just keep looking. Lately, I don't know if it is because of staying around you or what, but I am starting to think that, that guy, Sir Peterwood, is not actually the culprit we are looking for." He said.
"Do you think he is hiding the criminal?" I asked.
"Doing crime is one thing. But protecting the one doing the crie is another level. You know, it's just like those teachers say, the one who copies do that out of desperation, but the one who lends him the answers will get even worse punishment." Jason said.
"So, if Sir Peterwood is hiding the crminals, he will have to deal with the laws." Jason said.
"Yeah, it looks like the case is getting a whole lot complicated." I said. "We ought to give our brains a little rest." Jason said.
"What do you suggest?" I asked. "Teach me cooking?" He asked me with eyes gleeming with curiosity.
"Yeesh! Fine whatever." I said and got up from the couch, followed by Jason.
"So, what do you know to make?" I asked as I leaned on the countertop. "Coffee?" He asked, doubtedly.
"Wow. I expected a, that's what you are here for, or something related like that answer." I said and smiled. He returned me that smile.
"So tell me, how do you do it?" I asked. "First, you will choose the type of coffee you want." He said. "That's... something unique, but yeah, fine." I said. "Then?" I asked.
'You press the button." He said and pointed to the coffee machine.
I was in a situation, in which my body was conflicting of whether to laugh or get angry.
But I decided to laugh. I laughed out loud. "Okay, so we are really back to square one." I said and he shrugged.
"Alright, why don't we start with an omelette?" I asked and he nodded.
He learns pretty fast. Now I get why Uncle didn't want Jason to learn cooking. Then he would be a perfect man.
After teaching him the basic of the basics, I went upstairs. I had a bit of studying to do. One cant keep pushing studies and work to another day. Jason had some work in which he had to interfere.
We went right to sleep after that.
The next day at school, Michael came running to me. "Michael, what's the matter?" "We are having basketball practise after class." He said. "Oh thanks for letting me know. I will inform Dave too. Thanks again." I said.
