Chapter 19

I made a latte and drank it. My habit before going to bed. Jason and I was talking about personal stuff, that we forgot how fast the time flew by. I told him about my school stuff, like Chloe-Larris drama, my reason for switching schools et cetera.

He told me about him being friends with David, and how hard they both tried to make Meera notice him. And finally make her fall for him.

We didn't notice the time pass by. It was already 9. We then decided to leave for bed. I even forgot to change my dress. I then changed my dress when I got upstairs. When I got out, Jason was already sitting on the bed in his pajamas. I turned off the lights and got onto my bed.

"Hey-" I cut Jason off. "I haven't forgotten?" I said. "Come near me." I said. "You come near me." He said and I rolled my eyes. I then got onto his bed. "Bring your ear near." I said and he obeyed. "I knew about..." I said and stopped there. "You know about what?" He asked. "You know what? I will tell you tomorrow." I said wanting to intrigue him.

"Like hell you will." He screamed. "I wasn't able to work today since morning because of this and now you are going to postpone it to tomorrow. I have mentioned it before also, that I am not a patient man." He said the words I wanted to hear.

"Okay. So how should I put it? In simple ways, it can be said, I know about your Mission Diana." I said. There was a series of silence. "Oh, so you know about it now." He said. "Yeah, I know about it." I said. "How when?" He asked.

"I don't know. I always had this suspicion. And... you know what happens when suspicions come together." I said. "So, what are you going to do?" He asked. I simply shrugged. I didn't want him to know about my date.

"So, you are totally cool with it?" He asked. "Yeah, why shouldn't I be? What's done is done. And there is no use of fussing over it." I said. "Wow. You are different." He said. "Why did you say like that?" I asked. "Well, if it was any other girl, I could have watched a whole series with the drama she make." Jason said and I chuckled.
"So, what are you telling?" I asked. "You need to be a bit more of spitfire. Like your sister." He said. "Is that really coming from your heart?" I asked. "It's for the better of you and me." He said. "So, you don't really want it." I said and he just shrugged.

"Alright, now we can skip from that topic. What do you think of the diamond stealing?" He asked. "One thing for sure. The mastermind is one of our employees, or someone of the employee who knows about this diamonds. And, by which the fact I am fine, if you don't believe me-" Jason cut me off. "No, I believe you. I came to this same conclusion too. But the thing is father. He won't believe that one of his employees did it. Even though, that there is a thought somewhere in the corner of his mind, he still refuses to believe. Refuses to accept the truth." Jason said, quite irritated.

I then got up and looked at his face. He was looking at mine too. "It's because your father is a good man." I said. "But what can we do?" He asked. "We can do anything. Because, your father won't stop you, because he knows you are doing the right thing. And yes, he won't help either, that is, until, we have got some proof, material proof, that one of our company employee is the one behind this whole thing." I said.

"It's true. Then tomorrow we will start by checking upon all my employees." He said. "And also the ones, coming frequently." I said. "Don't tell me, you are doubting Claire." He said. "It's not only about Claire. Also people like Valentina Red." I said. "Yeah, true." He said. "So now can we go to sleep, boss?" I asked. "You know its Jay for you." Jason said. "Yes, your honor." I said. "You know, you can sleep on my bed." He said. "Guess I will pass." I smirked and got onto my bed.
