When we reached there, a man, a different one, came and opened my side of door and smiled at me. Thank God, he didn't wear sunglasses. "Thank you." I said. He chuckled. Oh My God, it is the same chuckling.

"It's you." I said. "And let me guess. You are the Esther Lady." He said. "You didn't tell me your name." I said. "Michael. Michael Bernadshaw." He said.

"Ahem..." Jason fake choked to get our attention. I threw him a glare. He avoided the eye contact and stated whistling looking at the sky.

"Well, here we go." Michael said and led us inside the building. He kept his Identity Card on the scanner and the elevator opened.

It was awkward again, inside the elevator, with me standing in between two men. I wanted to start a conversation, but I didn't know what subject to choose (not because I have many options). And that damn floor, where we were supposed to meet 'that guy' was 36th. Well, look who is blaming. Mine and Jason's are on the 41st.

At last we reached the 36th floor. When the door of the elevator opened, floral smell filled in my nose. Fresh smells of flowers, mainly roses and jasmines. For a moment I thought, I was back at Victoria, standing on our terrace.

"Miss Esther?" Suddenly Michael's voice bought me back to Winnipeg. "Yes. Sorry." I apologized quickly. When I stepped off the elevator, a soft floor welcomed me. I looked down. The whole floor was bathed in soft green moss.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Esther." Someone's voice bought me back. I looked up, and a handsome young man, bowed and grabbed my hand and kissed on my knuckles.

My face suddenly got heated. "Oh... the pleasure is all mines." I said. "Come, have some tea with me." He said with a pleasant smile.

"Actually, I am not-" "Exactly, I am Jason O'Deol, for your kind information." Jason interrupted. "I have clear vision to see the difference between Men and Woman, Mr. Jason O'Deol." That guy shot back. "Oh, but you don't act like it. You are acting like MY Personal Secretary is YOUR girlfriend." Jason said. "Well either ways, you wouldn't mind, right. You have already got a girlfriend, right? What was her name again? Yeah, Claire Zumeire. A bit too tall for you, I guess." He said, again. Well, that guy knows where to hit. "Believe rumors, don't you?" Jason asked. "Well, part of them is always true. Yeah, I hear all kinds of rumor and use it the right time." He said. "Well-" Jason started, but I interrupted. "This garden is truly elegant." I said. He then smiled. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I am John. John Shades." He said and smiled at me. I smiled back at me.

He then took my hand and led me to a tea-party-like-table and told me to sit. "N-no, I think Jay- Sir Jason should sit here." I said and Jason sat there.

"Now what was the reason you asked for this reason?" Jason asked John.

"My father would like to merge with your company." John said. "You have-" Jason was interrupted. "I have everything ready here." John said and gave some documents. "And lady, what would you like to have, coffee-" This time John was interrupted. "She already had coffee in the morning." Jason said. "Are you even serious? In the morning? It is already turning dark, and looks at you, talking about morning." John said, and I had to admit, he did have some point.

"Are these men-" I heard a voice near my near, and turned back. It was Michael. "Fighting for you?" He asked.

"No. Not Jason. He never actually cared for me. Maybe John is, I don't know." I said. "After I finished talking there was complete silence. Suddenly John smirked. "Well, who would think that things could turn around like this at last, right?" John asked, and there was an unpleasant look on Jason's face. What happened? I thought for a moment. Wait, why am I caring for him?
