I know I am early. I am just in a good mood. And I am going on a spree.
------------------------------------------------------------
"Is... Sir Peterwood." Dave said.
"WHAT? There must be some mistake." I said. "Yeah. Because he is Sir Peterwood there is a mistake." Jason said. "I meant that, he is a loyal servant from the start." I said. "Yeah, so much for the everyone is suspicious under eye right now talk." He said and I kept quiet.
"Whatever, we are going to keep a close eye on him from now on. If father asks anything, we will tell, or it is between us three. No fourth person must know." Jason said and we both nodded.
"And Diana, we are leaving to our dorms." Jason said. "We can go see Uncle Watson." I said. "Why?" He asked, with a tint of irritation. "There is no need for reason to see a person, especially one's father." I said. "Yeah." He said.
"Dave, you are excused." Jason said. Dave then nodded and left the room. Shortly, we left too. We were the only ones left in the meeting room. I turned off all the electronics as we exited the room.
Then I walked fast to get in front of Jason and pressed for the elevator. It came as soon as Jason came. We both got in. "Is everything okay between you and Uncle Watson?" I asked. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Oh come on. You know what I mean." I said. "I was that obvious?" He asked. "No. It was actually... the atmosphere around you." I said. "God, again that atmosphere." Jason rolled his eyes. "Jason what is the matter between both of you?" I asked. "We will talk once we get back to our dorm." Jason said.
When the elevator reached the topmost floor, I got out and turned to Jason. "Jason, you coming? Because if you are, there is no backing out." I said.
"Don't think that I am a coward or anything. It's just that I don't think it should be like this." He said. "I understand." He then closed the elevator as I made my way to Uncle's room.
I knocked 3 times, opened the door at an ajar, and asked, "May I come in?" "Please do." Uncle said. I then got in and closed the door.
"Ah, Diana. You are here." Uncle smiled and I smiled. "Even though I knew you were not going to be that bad, considering you don't have much experience, I didn't expect you to be this good." Uncle said. "Well, coincidence or not, your son said the same thing." I said and Uncle chuckled.
"Is everything alright between you and Jason?" I asked and Uncle remained silent. "I know I am not qualified enough to say this, but, sometimes I can help you smooth things with Jason. I can talk to him for you." I said.
"I know, but the thing is, I know what my son is saying is correct, but..." Uncle stopped there. "You just can't bring yourself to admit that one of your employees did it." I said and he nodded. "But uncle, you will have to face the truth one day. It is better to try accepting it from now itself." I said, more like, hitting the truth.
"Diana?" Uncle called. "Yes?" I asked. "Can you make Jason talk with me?" He asked. "Sure Uncle. I know all these little-little problems can be extinguished by a small talk. Small but honest talk." "Thank you, Diana?" Uncle said.
"The pleasure is all mine." I said and smiled, once again.
I knocked on the door and Jason opened it. He then got in without waiting for me. I then followed him to our living room, after I closed the door.
"Jason, I need to talk to you." I said. "Something my father told you to inject into my head. I know better than to listen to it." Jason said.
"He said that he needed to talk to you." I said and Jason looked up to me, from his place. "Yes, Jason. But think about it. He, is your father. If you had told him, persuaded him, he would have listened. He should have listened." I said.
"Oh, Diana." Jason said, loudly and irritated. "You always take other people's side. Not my side. Well, honestly, you never took my side." Jason said.
"Oh my god, Jason." I said and hugged him. He hugged me back, quickly. I could feel his breathe on my collarbones. "Jay, I am so sorry." I said.
"Diana, I need you." Jason said. "You want to go to bed?" I asked. "It's pretty early." I said. "Then what to do? Want to watch a movie?" I asked. "Sounds like a good idea to me." He said. "Want something to eat?" I asked. "Anything you make is fine." He said and I smiled.
I made some sandwiches and sat down with him. We enjoyed the movie together.
It was past 9o clock when we decided to turn off the television
"It's late now." I said. "Not that late." He said. "Well, as a matter of fact, I am having school tomorrow." I said. "Cant believe that Sunday went that fast." He said and I chuckled.
"Come upstairs. I will be changing my dress." I said and got upstairs. I opened my closet and took a pair of comfortable clothes and got in the washroom.
When I got out Jason was already in the room. "Everything alright?" I asked. "Yeah, just realized I wont be seeing much of you, strarting tomorrow." He said. "So, you are going to miss me now?" I asked. "To be honest, yes." He said.
"Well, we'll stop talking and go get some good sleep?" I asked. "Oh God, I hate Mondays." He said and I chuckled.
I then turned the lights off and got onto my bed. "You know, you can sleep on my bed." Jason said. "And on mine too." I said. "Yeah." He said and I didn't hear anything more.
