His eyes watched with longing. Longing to get what Will and Nico had or Hazel with Frank or with Merlin and Arthur. But he knew he could have this not when this person had no memories and he doubt that he would even have the same feelings. So, he watched his son and Percy's interaction with longing.

So, he excused himself and went home and making a decision which would not really be a good idea not to mention he promise Nico. But not on the River Styx and he was sure that some when the urge was too much.

The urge to do something self-destructive but he couldn't' talk about this. So, he went into the bath...

Bandages wrapped around but lucky he used magic to cover it up. Not even bothering to heal these cuts. But just to be sure he wore a long sleeved.

He worked at an orphanage himself now. It was just that it would be easier, and he could make kids happy. They seemed to like him, and kids always did. They seem to make him smile and it was the only time where he wasn't feeling overwhelmed with his negativity.

"Ne, can Benwly come?" A soft smile stretched over at this. The kids loved him too and it wasn't uncommon for his son to come as well.

"Sure Anne." A cheer was heard, and he messaged his son to come here. But what he wasn't expecting to see him with Percy. It was making his heart sting and he starting to put on a mask.

//You do know, Nico was furrowing his brows and wanted to visit you. So what did you do again?// His son instantly knew when something was going on and he bit his lips now avoiding the piercing gaze of sea green.

//I didn't do anything.// It was a lie but his son knew. He let out a sigh and giving him a bear hug.

//I wished you would stop with these destructive habits.// All he could do was hug back and their hug left.

"Hey." His gaze went over to Percy. The male was silent for a moment and staring at him closely. Then a soft smile starting to appear.

"Hi, how is going?" His voice curious yet there was a concern flickering in his light blue eyes. Almost as he could tell that something wasn't right.

"Pretty good." A smile was on his lips, but it was a polite one. It was a mask. One that he had whenever he wasn't wanting anyone to find out how he really was.

"Glad to know, but you shouldn't smile when you don't feel up for it. Anyway, so you're working at an orphanage?" Percy looked at him with a soft expression and he felt his heart sank not sure how to answer. So that he pushed the comment aside and introduced him to the kids.

The kids were euphoric to get to know someone else now. And they starting to ask questions and Percy was perfect with kids. His heart clenched at this because it made him remember how much he wished that he would have seen his son grow up.

His grim thoughts pushed aside, and he decided it was better to stay distant with his reincarnation. It was after all easier then knowing that the male never would fall for him.

Nico indeed ended up coming over and his gaze was piercing through him. It was making him avoid his gaze knowing that the male knew that he had known. Both knew that what he done, and it wasn't needed to point out.

"So, what made you think it's a good idea to do it again?" His voice was stern yet soft. It was making him feel more overwhelmed.

"I don't know what you're talking about." It sounded pouty and innocent. But Nico knew better, and he heard him let out a sigh.

"Look I get you. Sometimes it's hard and you have that urge to do it. But I learned talking about it helped." Voice soft and he let out a sigh. Eyes glanced now at the older of the two and see him gaze softly at him.

"I- So just was overwhelmed. I don't know what else to do and it's my coping mechanism." Nico winced and let out a sigh. By now he sat next to him and pulled him into a hug.

"Look you need to stop being self-destructive. Why not go jogging or do any sport activities? It could help or write down, what worries you have." A nod was all he could give and the two talked a bit more.

He got dragged to the beach. Not his idea but his Son. The young adult wanted to go there and probably try and make them get closer but even a month later he stayed distant. Even now and there was the fact that he couldn't swim well.

It was just that water wasn't really his element and he was kind of feeling unnerved by it. But that was just because of his past experience from two times almost drowning. Not that his son knew this, and he wasn't wanting to know this.

Poseidon maybe knew but he wasn't that sure. Don't get him wrong he wasn't minding sitting outside and watching the sea but in the water wasn't that much his element.

"Mom come on let's get inside." His gaze went wearily over to the water and he shook his head.

"Pretty pleawes?" Big puppy eyes with a whine was given to him and so he let out a sigh and letting himself getting dragged inside of the water. Percy grinned and splashed both with his waterpower's and he grumbled under his breath with this.

Salt water was in his mouth and he coughed a bit. Great just great and now even his Son was splashing Percy back. The two starting to get more and more and he ended up losing his balance.

//Oh come on....// This was all he could say before getting engulfed with water. Well with his luck he ended up getting entangled with some sea grass. And one thought went through his head...

//I swear the sea grass hates me...// He tried to get his foot out of the sea grass, but they were too entangled. So that he muttered a spell in his mind and swimming up.

The issue was that he ended up a bit too far from the beach. Just his luck. He even coughed and trying not to freak out. But it wasn't working this entire situation was shitty. His swam forward and the sea current was luckily not going too bad.

And he could just guess that Poseidon was watching this entire thing. He starting to swim towards the beach.

"Mom uh sorry." Voice sounded soft and apologetic and Percy looked as guilty. These two really were similar.

"Poseidon thanks for helping and I swear your effing sea grass hates me." His gaze went into a direction and the person looked sheepish now. Bentley grinned brightly and tackling the male down and Percy walked up too and greeting him.

"Well, I was almost planning to get to you but you seemed to have held your own well enough." His voice was both amusement yet concern.

"Next time don't use your powers, or I won't let you get any cookies for the next week." His son paled and giving him a puppy look.

"I am sorry Mooom." His voice was a whining and he shook his head ruffling his hair.

"This is why I don't like water. Water just hates me." He puffed his cheeks up and stormed away to their seats. His body was sore, and he was exhausted.

"Uh, why would water hate you?" Percy's voice sounded confused and he let out a sigh pouting more but not saying anything. His son opened his mouth but looking as puzzled.

"You do know that water has not per se feelings?" His gaze went over to his son and he breathed out and trying not to freak out.

"Third time I almost drown. Two times with sea grass involved, which by the way- I say it again- it hates me, and the last time was with a psycho after my ass." He grumbled and Poseidon winced at this.

"No offence against the sea but it's not my element. So, you two go have fun I am staying here safe where nothing too harmful can hurt me." Other than monsters. The two had eye contact for a moment and then his son nodded but dragging Percy away.

"I try not to let you drown. Or why else do you think you can hold your breath longer?" His gaze went over to Poseidon who by now was plopping himself down as well. The sun umbrella was overshadowing them and protecting them from the sun, not that he would need it.

For him sun was always more the element and he loved summer. Others may have issues with the sun he never had this.

"I know but I rather don't want to risk it. The third time is enough. I may know how to swim but I just feel unnerved with it." A shiver went through his frame and Poseidon gave him a knowing look.

"You know you could as well use a spell to make you breath underwater? Percy done this many times when he wanted to meet me down in my water palace." His gaze went over to Poseidon once more and he shrugged because right now he really wasn't wanting to get inside of water.

"I think I am going to pass maybe another time." A chuckle was escaping. His gaze stayed outside at the sea and watching two dorks goof around in the water. It brought him joy yet he felt as well conflicted again. This was something that he wished many times and now that he sees his son interact with Percy, he felt just a twinge of pain.

Well here he goes again. Poseidon ended up joining at some point and he mused at the three goofing around. In the evening, they left, and his son seemed to beam. At least he was sure that son was happy about this.
