Chapter 35 end

Both gods looked puzzled, but one froze as soon as hugging him. A bright smile soon was on his lips and he couldn't help but smile as well.

"Am I missing something?" Poseidon sounded puzzled and he could just chuckle at this. His eyes locked with Percy who was giddy. Almost as if he would get something sweet. Or when they would do capture the flag.

"Well I have to carry something inside of me soon." His hand went over his stomach at this and Percy waited for his father to realize it and his Dad looked even more happy now.

"The only thing that you could carry inside you, is a....oh wait I will be having another grandchild?" His voice sounded surprise and when he nodded, expression was a bright smile now. Both of the two gave their congratulations.

"Well I knew it from the beginning we hugged." His Dad said and he couldn't help but muse at this.

"Obviously you would find out. But I wonder how? The last time you have as well. I get Hera but you?" His voice was confused at this and his Dad chuckled.

"I am the god of health. So, I would notice that there is well a mini person grow inside of you." An answer was given to his question and it made sense.

"Can you tell will our child have a godly half or will they have none." The last time he hadn't asked but now he needed to know to be prepared. And he may as well ask his father. The male was silent for a moment.

"I see something, but I want to hold this a surprise for both of you." Tone a teasing and he puffed his cheeks out, but a sigh escaped at the end. One by one people found out and each were happy for them, but he couldn't help but feel anxious.

Because the last time Percy ended up dying. So, it wasn't a surprise that he had been really clingy towards the male, as soon as he came back. None really knew why other than Leo, Will, Enrico and their son. It was just that he feared when he wouldn't be near him, Percy would die or something.

So, at the second month Percy ended up going just somewhere away without telling him. His hormonic mind thought that he disappeared and well that led to him crying. That was how his son found him. Crying and freaking out. The male instantly starting to calm him down and this was how Percy found them. He blinked and rushed over soon pulling him into a hug. He stopped crying instantly.

"Alright, talk. What is up with you? You are clingier. You cry as soon as I go somewhere and stop instantly I hold you." Percy sounded concerned now and he sniffed and muttering an explanation.

"Oh, my dolphin. You do know that I am not going to die and am immortal like you are?" He slowly nodded but his mind couldn't help but remember.

"Dad, the last time he was pregnant you died. So, it's a normal fear thinking that this would happen again." His son this time explained, and Percy's expression softens now. It was since then that he had been more affectionate and always explaining where he went before going.

It helped a lot to ease his anxiousness. Yet he still was clingier than his first pregnancy. His friends came visiting often. What he found out that Calypso ended up giving Enrico immortality, but Leo decided against it the same with Calypso.

So at least his son doesn't need to worry about him dying.

He finally birthed a healthy baby girl, named Sophia. She has freckles even the skin is like his, but the eyes are Percy's. But she wasn't like Bentley with magic, but he could feel that she was differently, but it was strange.

As the age went by a realization hit him, she felt like a demigod so that it meant that she was unfortunate as well. It wasn't Poseidon and when she got thirteen, she got claimed by his Dad. A groan went out that day.

How can it always end up like this? Couldn't one of children have a nice life without worries, but no. The fates decided otherwise. But she would live not like them and that made him concerned and worried constantly.

Up to the point that he ended up going into camouflage mode and following her everywhere. Because she could die like any other normal demigod. Not a good thing but can you blame him? She was not immortal.

It was stressing him out. So, at some point he even felt sick. Not something that has ever happened, but the stress just caught up on him.

His body was feeling sore. A massive headache was felt, dizzy, feverish, stomach churned. All in all, he felt sick. And he hid this trying not to show it but in the middle of the day, his footing got lost and he almost would have falling, wouldn't it be for Bentley catching him.

Hikaru must have been blacked out because the next time he woke up was when feeling better. His eyes slowly opened after this and he realized that he was in his bed. His brows furrowed until a cough was heard and he slowly turned his head and looking a concerned looking Percy.

"So what is it this time?" His voice sounded stern yet softly.

"Uh I- Okay so I was scared to lose our daughter and well ended up following her anywhere just to be sure that she wouldn't end up dying because of monster attack." His voice soft and fragile because this was a fear. Percy let out a sigh and ruffling his hair at this.

"I get this, and I know you are worried, but she will be fine. She is the daughter of us." His voice held the same tone and he could just nod at this.

Let's just say that everything went out well and that she had a long life. Sophia didn't want to be immortal like them as she had found a mortal who she loved. They got their own children and he ended up watching her grow old.

Her life had been lively, and she had a happy life. It was painful to see Sophia die. But not just his daughter but one by one of his friends died. They all had a happy live and he was fortunate to had people that had cared for him.

It pained him to see them die, even when it was at old age. The only one who wouldn't die was Enrico, Leo and Calypso. And well it was making him feel better but still pained him. Other then Nico who had visited him from time to time as a ghost. He was after all helping Hades and the male wasn't minding this because Hades knows how much he had cared for Nico.

Then there was Will who never really wanted to move on and stayed with Nico as well. This shows how much the two loved and still love each other. Live would continue on and he would watch demigods grow and die, but with his friends and family he would be fine and that was all that was needed.
