- CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO: LEO TO THE RESCUE! 章 32: 救助へのレオ
I watched as Percy carefully patched a bandage of leaves on my ankle. I couldn't help but to look at him with admiration, i mean this was the guy i used to read about all day until i joined the half-blood camp.
He was like a superhero, and now he's my brother.
"What are you staring at?" Percy chuckled as he finished the last parts of patching my bandage on.
I gave him a slight smile as i thanked him for helping me with putting on bandages.
Percy sat next to me, as he looked out of the horizon from the mountains.
The other boys had decided to search more of the mountain, trying to look for possible ways to get down from Grizzly Peak in a more efficient way.
To be completely honest, i think they purposely let me and Percy be alone, so we could have our 'sibling bonding', but if i was going to be completely honest, then I'd say that i was a nervous wreck.
"Was it a rough journey?" Percy broke the silence with a question, as he looked at me with his sea-green eyes.
God, i wish i got his eyes instead, they were so pretty.
If Percy wasn't my brother, then i would definitely have a crush on him. But, let's not tell Jungkook i said that.
I gave him a slight nod.
"We've used three days to get to here, it was pretty rough" i chuckled, as i reminded myself of how many days we had left before Cronus would allegedly escape from the pandora box.
"That's tough, sorry i couldn't be there for you," Percy apologized, his eyes full of regrets.
I shook my head as i gave him a pat of encouragement, "You're here now, that's all that matters,"
Percy let out another chuckle, as he playfully ruffled my hair. "I'll teach you some tricks, it's worth the investment of your powers,"
I think Percy used roughly two hours trying to teach me how to maximize my powers, and how to use them in the most efficient way possible, however he also helped me with how to secure my grips on swords, and what main points to focus on during combat fights.
As it got darker, the seven of us assembled together by the campfire that Polyphemus had made earlier.
Jungkook cuddled up against me, as he tried to heat himself up from the cold.
Grover explained all the different adventures we had gone through together for Percy, as he listened with care, his eyes of encouragement and warmth towards his friend.
As the night continued to go on, i found myself falling asleep on Jungkook's shoulder, and thus far, i had to admit that this was the best sleep i had recieved in ages.
