"What is your relationship with Elizabeth Ann Bundy?"

"Elle? I love her more than anything in the world. She's my baby, after all. She's real special, I'm telling ya. Only 7 right now, but she's the smartest kid in the world. Haven't spent a single day without her since the day she was born. I just know that my baby girl Elle is gonna grow up to be one successful, tough cookie. Doing whatever she wants to do. After Rose, her sister, went with Carole three years ago, she stayed with me. Always has been a daddy's girl, and always will be. I just want my baby to know that I'll love her, no matter what."

Elizabeth Ann Bundy sat on the floor of her messy apartment, leaning against a kitchen counter as she heard the tape stop playing, the voice of Ted Bundy fading out.

Elizabeth knew of her father's doings. She was in the next room as he sat in that electric chair, she was only seven, however she knew everything that was happening. She loved her father more than anything in the world. She knew life would be difficult, seeing as she held the name of one of America's most brutal serial killers.

Was it bad that she still loved him?

She'd come to terms with the fact that Ted Bundy may have been a good father, but he was definitely not a good man. She thought about it every night when she got home from work, playing the same tape and thinking of their last words to eachother.

"I'm sorry, peanut. You know I am."

"I know, daddy. It's okay. One day, I'll be with you, and we can be happy again."

"One day, Elle. Let's just hope you don't join me soon. I love you, baby."

"I love you too, daddy."

She often also thought about how everytime she would be alone, her father would be close, ruining and ending a girl's life. How after he ended her life, he'd clean everything and join his little girl again, reading to her or playing with her.

Once her father's death occurred in 1989, she went to live with her mother and Rose, her sister. She loved both dearly, however her and Rose never saw eye to eye. When Elizabeth had become a teenager, fights between her and her mother blossomed rapidly, her sister angering her even more, resulting in the girl storming off, leaving her mother and sister behind.

Elizabeth managed to graduate from high school at the age of 16, studying undergrad law and psychology at Brown university, and going to law school at Harvard, throwing away her dreams of being in the film industry to follow her father's footsteps. She did love the study of law, possibly more than theater.

Everyone knew of her background and it did make life a bit difficult, no matter how sure she was of her lack of the murder gene. She often thought it was her appearance. She did share similarities with her father. Some would say that her and Ted have the same smile, however hers was less sinister and had a homey feel to it. Others would say it's the eyes, and how they were exactly the same, although her eyes were like her smile, they were warm and inviting.  A majority of people would say that she had the killer's charms, and a stunning face.

By the mere age of 21, Bundy graduated from law school early, starting her job as a lawyer. She made the large jump from an associate to a real lawyer in a matter of months. She was special, just like Ted claimed.

One day, Elizabeth Bundy stood in court, speaking with her chin up and back straight, recalling every detail she analyzed and their potential meanings, unknowingly catching the attention of a profiler.

Aaron Hotchner sat in the audience, his eyes trained on the young lady before him as he listened to every word, intrigued.

One month later, Elizabeth was a member of the Behavioral Analysis Unit.
