Today is my day out with Liam and Catherine.

We have been making plans over the phone for days and decided that we should all go see a movie. It only starts at seven O'clock and we had agreed to meet at the cinema at six thirty, so to kill time I have spent the whole day cleaning my apartment and thinking of possible outfits to wear.

I noticed that the apartment has been looking like a pig sty, because I have been too busy over the last week to get to cleaning. Luckily I don't sped too much time inside, but rather everywhere else.

My shifts at the bookstore are entertaining ones, but are still very draining and keep me busy. I have gotten to know Amelia and Andrew a lot more over these past few weeks. Each one of them surprising me whenever I find out any information about them. At first I thought that maybe Andrew and Amelia were dating, but found out that Amelia is actually asexual. They are really close though, 'like siblings' they say. I guess I could've guessed Amelia's asexuality, because whenever I talk about the romantic parts of the novels that I had read a few days before, she'd always look bored. She's 'more into non-romantic fiction', she'd tell me. I think that it's great that she finally told me, because now I can stop bothering her with my hopeless romantic crap.

I have also had a great time with Catherine since our first encounter on Tuesday. We have become pretty good friends, which is unusual considering that I don't really make 'girl-friends' easily. We have the same taste in books and movies, and spend most of our time geeking out over what is happening to our favourite characters. The time between lectures are definitely well spent with Catherine.

At around five I finally finished cleaning everything and went to take a shower.

When I was finished in the shower I blowdried my hair, brushed it and applied a light layer of makeup to my face. I went into my room and opened my closet and looked around for something to wear. I had some ideas of what I could wear, because I had thought about it the whole day, but none of them appealed to me that much.

I eventually went with a black denim jacket, black boots, a black crop top and black checkered pants.

I was in a particular 'all black' kind of mood

I was in a particular 'all black' kind of mood.

I grabbed my phone, purse and apartment keys and headed for the door.

Due to the fact that I don't know the area all that well Liam chose the theatre that we'd be going to. I had put it into the GPS on my phone and saw that it was only a few blocks down, so I thought that I'd walk. No use spending money on an Uber if it would only take three minutes to drive there, plus there would be loads pf people out as well.

I left the building and began my walk, glancing at the GPS every now and then to make sure that I wouldn't get lost. The side walk was packed with people of the city as they walked around the lit up pathways. Apparently Friday nights bring everyone out of their apartments, but I'm not surprised.
