Jimin never hated anyone, at least not before he met a certain someone. Yes, there were people who annoyed him, and there were people he tried to avoid like the plague, but he didn't hate them.
The reason why is not because he's that super kind person who thinks everyone deserves a chance, no, that's not who he was, it's much simpler.
The answer is Tzuyu.
Tzuyu was without a doubt one of the most amazing people ever, but even someone like her has secrets.
When she lost her parents at the age of 4, she was too young to understand how cruel this world was.
She had to live with her aunt Minnah, who initially seemed to feel sorry for the child, but the older Tzuyu got, the more she resembled her mother and Minnah hated it. Her piercing brown eyes reminded Minnah every day that her beloved big sister is dead and all she left was someone who looked but was nothing like her, a useless doppelganger and she couldn't accept that.
She wanted to hurt Tzuyu as much as she hurt her.
Jimin knew everything about Tzuyu and that includes her difficult childhood.
He never met Tzuyu's aunt, but he swore the only person he can ever hate is this sick woman and god knows what he'll do once he actually meets her

"So, what's your name again?" asked Jungkook in a flirty tone trying to woo jimin and get over with this stupid bet.
Just because he didn't want to go to this 'date' didn't mean that he would waste his chance with a beauty. He was pretty confident that he'll make jimin fall in love with him in less than a day since no one could resist his charms or so he thought cause jimin was having none of it.
"Are you serious right now? Are you really asking me right now what my name is?"

The thought of being the one who took jimins virginity, being the one who's going to ruin his innocence, excited him more than it probably should and jimin noticed that.

The moment jimin rejected Jungkook was his death sentence and the fact that he had the audacity to start making fun of him made Jungkook even more furios.
