Elizabeth
My eyes are just glued on Wallace, not so far away, as he's already marching towards my place bringing four baskets that I am not certain what's on the inside.
Undeniably, Wallace looks so attractive with his two button down skyblue shirt and a black trousers. I can even see some of the girls, their eyes particularly, it's following Wallace.
Because Wallace, having that artistic look he has, the way he clad himself, his posture and his smile, tanga na lang siguro ang di lilingon.
"Is there a food?" I welcomed and laughed as he finally stopped on our place.
"Of course." He beamed and moved his brows up and down. He started to open each baskets and I was stunned when there are a lot of foods inside it. As in, A LOT.
From chips, biscuits, chocolate bars, canned drinks, there are fresh fruits inside a plastic container and more types of noshes. Both of my eyes and mouth gaped because of disbelief.
"Ang dami naman ng binili mo." Natatawa kong sabi.
"Yup, but I am sure we can still finish it. And also..." He glanced at me first before continuing.
"I just noticed, you're getting thinner and thinner. Though I remember we always eat a lot these past few days." Confusion drawn in his face as my heart began to beat abnormally.
"Really? I think my body still look the same." I tried to cover.
He got the blanket from the inside of one of the baskets, and he started laying it neatly on the pasture. Then next, he started pulling some of the foods out of the baskets.
"Upo ka na." He coaxed.
Still amused, I sat on the pink blanket.
"What more did you prepare? I wasn't expecting this." I amusedly uttered.
"Oh wait, the speaker for the music. To give us more life." He said as he lifted himself to reach the basket where the speaker is being placed.
I cannot describe what I am feeling. Because honestly at this moment, my emotions are jumbling.
"Wallace, pause and pose." He followed what I said so he nestled himself comfortably and gave me jovial smile. His teeth is shown and his hands are carrying the small speaker he got.
"Another one, Wallace. Wacky pose." I suggested. He wasn't even hesitant so he then made a face. His eyes meeting at the center, tongue out, head tilted. Still looking good.
My eyes widened, realizing my thought. Damn, I used to hate complimenting guys because usually they'll become arrogant and egoistic.
"Can I see it?" He asked and looked to my phone. I immediately nod as my arms extended. Nakangiti naman niya itong tinaggap.
"Can I send it to my phone?" he shyly asked kaya di ko maiwasang matawa.
"As long as litrato mo lang." I replied as I move my brows up and down.
"Oh okay." He's bobbing his head while getting his phone out from his pockets. While watching him, I felt a vibration inside my tummy. Glad it wasn't loud so I assume he didn't heard it.
"Can I open this?" I asked as I pointed on the fresh watermelons and apples.
"You don't have to ask permission, Eli. I bought it for ours. Not just for me. Ours." No hesitation in his words. I pursed my lips and immediately avoided my eyes on him.
