After the wedding reception was over, Bright and Win let their parents took over the rest and decided to head back to their hotel room to rest. However, before they head back to their hotel room, Bright's parents called their presence in the lobby.
"What is it, mom?" Bright asked, tiredness visible in his tone of voice.
"I forgot to tell the both of you that you need to wake up early tomorrow." Kaley answered nonchalantly.
Bright and Win looked at each other before they returned their gaze to the former. The alpha raised an eyebrow to her mother, "Why is that?" Irritation clearly visible in his tone of voice. It is evident that he dislike the idea since he really wanted to take a rest because of all the things that happened throughout the day. The whole event really tires the hell out of him. There's no denying that.
Win couldn't agree more. It was tiring for him as well.
It basically drained the life out of the newlyweds.
"Well, you will find out tomorrow. Isn't that right, darling?" Kaley slightly elbowed her husband, indirectly asking him to step in.
"Right. You kids should rest now. Something awaits the both of you tomorrow." Alex responded as he placed his arm around his wife's waist.
"Good night to the both of you!" Kaley spoke cheekily, ending the conversation. She walked away with her husband the moment she said that.
"What's with them?" Win mumbled under his breath.
Bright heard it nice and clear. He turned around and walked away, "Who knows."
The newlyweds finally got to their hotel room and just like as they expected, there's only one bed in their room. Well, they got used to sleeping beside each other with a divider between them but what would happen now that they're officially married?
Win's train of thoughts started again.
He stole a glance from Bright, eyes sparkling in hope.
Bright noticed it and immediately crushed down the hope that lit up in the omega's eyes, "Not gonna happen."
"I didn't—"
"Yeah right." Bright deadpanned. He head towards the shower room and he closed it harshly.
The omega was startled by the loud bang from the door being closed harshly by Bright. He smacked himself on the head, "What are you thinking, Metawin?"
Win sighed and decided to went to the balcony in their room. He leaned towards the railings as he watched the night sky filled with stars from far and wide.
"This is the start..." Win muttered under in his breath. He took a deep breath and continued as he gazed upon the stars, "The start of my life as Win Metawin Chivaaree."
A few minutes later, Bright got out of the shower room, cladded in a bathrobe. Win gulped by the sight of the alpha, looking fresh from the bath. The water droplets from Bright's hair cascaded down in his body and Win couldn't help himself but drool all over the alpha.
The moment that Win realized that he was staring too much, he shifted his gaze as he turned around, not wanting to be tempted by the delighted scenery in the room.
He calmed himself as he looked back at the stars and thought of something that might distract his perverted mind.
As Win regained his composure, he went back to their room nonchalantly and went towards the shower room.
When he closed the door, Bright let out a playful smirk. It seemed like he noticed the behavior of the omega from the mirror earlier.
"He's really too obvious for his own good." Bright murmured as he imagined the look of the omega earlier.
