The night went on as Win took Joss at a mountain cliff, a one-hour drive head north from their house. It was the place where he always found himself free as he let all of his emotions out and shout his problems without caring for anything around him. A place where no one would hear him and see him be vulnerable, just a place he could find comfort to release the emotions he has been holding inside of him.

"Where are we?" Joss asked him curiously. He didn't know where they are. It was the first time he ever went to a place like this. He's even confused why they needed to drive all the way here.

"Just a place I'd like to call freedom," Win smiled at him as he replied and went outside of the car.

Joss then followed him, wanting to ask more questions, "Freedom? Why is that?"

Win leaned on the hood of the car, basking the cold breeze of the night. He then took a deep breath as he gazed upon the stars, answering, "It's a place where I can be free."

"Free from all of my problems. It's a place where I don't need to put up a facade. No one will judge me here. I can just be... me," He lifted his right hand into the air as if he's catching the stars.

"So this place is special to you?" Joss leaned on the hood of the car as well, staring at the omega beside him.

"You can say that," Win replied softly whilst lowering his right hand.

"Then why did you bring me here?"

Win looked at him warmly as he spoke, "You wanted to know me, right?"

Joss felt his heart skipped a beat as he saw the omega's face with that warm smile. He just nodded as he didn't know what to reply.

"Then this is the best place for that."

"I see."

"Also, it's been a while since I went here. It really brings me back. The last time I went here was the day after my graduation ceremony."

The day after his graduation ceremony? Joss pondered the last statement of the omega. Then it's been that long already if that's the case. That being said, the alpha got curious why the omega stops coming here in this place. He decided to ask him about it out of curiosity.

"Why did you stop coming here?"

However, as he saw how Win's eyes widened when he asked him, he took back what he just said, "It's nothing. You don't have to answer—"

"It's fine." Win replied, cutting him off.

"It was because I thought I would never see him again." Win continued, looking back at the starry sky.

"Him?" Joss asked.

"Bright," Win answered as he clutched on his chest. "He was actually the main reason why I discovered this place, to begin with. He's the reason why I came here all the time."

Looking back about what happened in the past made his heart felt heavy. All the time he went here to cry and shout, all of it came back to him as if it was just yesterday. But this is not the time for him to emote like that. He then shrugged it off as he spoke, "Well, enough about that. Where do we start?"
